Trump Derangement Syndrome blows up in the face of Democrats, once again.

California's far-left progressives dominate the Democratic Party and love to ban things. Foie gras, plastic straws, and large containers of sugary soda are examples of food- and beverage-related matters. But asking Californians to forgo In-N-Out Burgers is a bridge too far.

Late Wednesday night, Eric Baumann, chair of the California Democratic Party, read an article in Los Angeles Magazine informing him that In-N-Out Burger had donated $25,000 to California's Republican Party. He tweeted out a call for a boycott:

After all, everyone knows that supporting Republicans is a death penalty offense for any business. Because every decent person should hate, hate, hate Republicans and anyone who supports them...........

The attempted boycott of IN-N-OUT was a hot steaming pile of manure. That's true.

But, the backlash was so heavy the little brain dead democrat who tried to start it had to retreat. Now, the democrat moron, Bauman is singing a different tune.

Might be. Get me up to date, teasel. Any organized protests outside Nike Inc or major retailers selling their product? Have the protestors received industry financial support? Churches behind this? ADL or SPLC publicly backing the protest? Lawsuit threats? Negative press deluge? Has Nike cut business ties with the Ad agency responsible (Wieden+Kennedy)? Has Nike hired consultants to rehabilitate the board and guide future ad campaigns? Has Nike altered company policies? Will Nike report future ad campaigns to a third party for approval? Any news of a confidential financial settlement? Is there a list of demands ... donations to the offended, forced resignations, public CEO apology, employee training?

This is the diversity industry.

Essentially, what has Nike been forced to do, and by whom? Who made money off this Nike "protest'?

*Monday, September 17th: The small, fairly affluent, very white town of North Smithfield RI takes a brief stand. The Town Council votes 3/2 in favor of a proposal requesting a ban on future purchases of Nike products. The resolution is put forward by Town Council Pres, John Beauregard, a former State Trooper, who believes Kaepernick's campaign unnecessarily maligns LEOs.

That morning - before the evening's vote - the ACLU sends the Council an email letter "warning" them (per the Washington Times) to vote down the proposal. That letter is then made public and released to msm.

note the letter acknowledges the resolution will be ultimately ineffectual, yet still threatens the "Town and taxpayers" with "legal and financial liability", wrapping up with the obligatory racist and insensitive accusations. Throws in a bonus "Mason-Dixon line" nod for kicks, too.

*Tuesday, September 18th: All hell breaks loose. The little town (<13,000) in a little state suddenly finds itself in the Eye of Sauron. Twitter, Facebook, msm, various talking heads, blogs, etc. Negative media storm.
