Maryland governor, Larry Hogan, has said that not wearing a mask is like driving drunk. There is no constitutional right to drive drunk. He also said that there is no constitutional right to go maskless. This is nonsense. Newsflash: The U.S. Constitution binds the government, not the other way around. It is presumed that we can go maskless. I regret to say it, but this bozo is a Republican.

The Governor of Wyoming opposed Masks and is now infected. Maybe that pushed Larry Hogan into saying this.

It is interesting that all bigshots who oppose Masks are getting infected faster than the public who wear them diligently.

Time for the ultimate test. 100 Unmasked MAGA and 100 Masked MAGA Youth in a small Air Conditioned Room for one hour with a dozen COVID19 Patients without masks. Let them all take notes and interact. Aftyer 14 days, percentage of new infections can be tabulated from the Masked and Unmasked Side.

Wrong. The general public is wearing masks at almost full compliance, but look at the cases surging. Masks are worthless.

We need correct empirical testing.
Red States are having maximum surge now, and here the public avoids masks.
China, Vietnam, Korean Public were diligently wearing masks, spread has drastically reduced.
In my own City, Mask Mandate was introduced in September and cases have now come down by 70% per day.

There is something to the correct usage of masks [not while running or open outdoors but in indoor settings with higher density of people to block the phlegm/fluid droplets that carry Virus Particles.].

Let the Test I suggest be done, if true, then millions can be saved. It is the proper scientific method to know for sure.

In the 1990s or 2000 AD, not sure, Christian Fundamentalists mocked the use of Condoms saying that HIV Virus could pass through the Latex due to the smaller size.

Those who believed this spread more HIV.
They could not grasp their head around the fluid medium of Virus Particles that gets blocked by Latex.

The same logic is now being spread I think regarding Masks.

The science says masks don’t work. It’s aerosol, which passes right through. Regardless, almost everyone is wearing one. You can’t say people who don’t wear masks get the virus because of it, because all the thousands who wear masks are getting it.

Israelis who has been known to be smart. Have come up with the idea of coating masks with zinc oxide raising the efficiency of the masks another 30 percent or so. So 70% chance you are protected, provided you follow other good practices like no nose picking in public places, etc.

It doesn’t matter what you do. We are all going to get this. We should have let it wash through us, and we would have herd immunity by now. We should have isolated the most vulnerable, not the healthy.

This point is true, the most vulnerable should have been isolated a lot better.

Also, valid points Phoenix. Hand Sanitization, not touching eyes/face etc is even more important than effective/coated masks.
