well, time for the average doctor with a conscience to show some real backbone.

Of course, if you went into the profession for the money and the prestige, backbone will not be high on your list.

But if you went into the profession with a genuine desire to help your fellow beings, and the money and prestige were just an added bonus, you will show backbone and pushback.
