I’m surprised you aren’t partying in here. McConnell stole three Supreme Court seats for this.

No SCOTUS seats were stolen. You are hysterical. You think people should be forced to have vaccine drugs and chemicals injected into them against their will, so that makes you a hypocrite.

All three were stolen. McConnell wouldn’t let Obama seat a court justice. Then someone suddenly decided to retire, making room for the guy who was accused of rape, and then McConnell ignored Gus own rules from 2016, installing Barrett weeks before a major election.

Those seats were lawfully added. And that Ford lady was a nut job. She was also probably paid off.

Can we organize an airlift for women, translators, scientists, educators, and journalists out of Texas before the Texas Taliban fully takes over?

You can try to deflect, but that doesn’t change the fact that your poor excuse for a leader abandoned Americans.

There are people in this country who believe killing an unborn child is a "basic human right", but the Bill of Rights entrusted Freedom of Speech our ancestors fought and died for is "nuanced", "complex" and "open to discussion."

I'm not sure what we should do about dangerous people like that.

What a total hypocrite you are!

You screech, howl, moan and snivel that women have the right to abortion...'control over their own bodies'..the 'right to choose to kill their babies' but on the other hand, the government and corporations have the right to mandate citizens take a vaccine they believe is hazardous to their heath and life, 'no choice'.

How about taking down that oversized graphic which screws up the registration on this thread?

What about the basic human rights of deciding what medicines to take and allow to be injected in their bodies? There is no freedom without medical freedom.

teasel, this is the kind of issue you can throw yourself behind without sounding like a complete and utter fool.

Maybe you should stick to it and leave other issues that require logical thinking to others.

Abortion is a matter of strong personal opinion and you are entitled to yours, I have no disregard of people's opinions on this.

Pro-Life Win: SCOTUS Lets Texas Six Week Abortion Ban Stand
Paul Bois
1 Sep 2021

In a pro-life victory, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled 5-4 on Wednesday not to block the new Texas law banning most abortions after six weeks of pregnancy while legal challenges to that law proceed in lower courts.

A narrow majority of justices held that the abortion-provider plaintiffs had failed to meet the high standard required for the Supreme Court to issue an injunction blocking a law before it goes into effect.

Signed in May by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R), Senate Bill 8 effectively bans abortions in the Lone Star State the moment a fetal heartbeat is detected, which often occurs after six weeks of pregnancy.

Well perhaps strangely of me, but I believe that women should have the right to decide for themselves what to do with their own bodies AND I also believe that people should be able to decide for themselves what medication goes into their bodies.

Weird, actual congruency, I know.

Maybe I'll agree...just as soon as the subject of an abortion, the baby, gets a vote and the opportunity to assert their 5th Amendment Rights.

Fifth Amendment

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

This is a big win for the unborn. Hopefully, more states will follow the same model.

In this area, I'm a firm Caycite, and agree with his source that the Soul doesn't fully energetically connect to the body until around physical birth/first breath (it doesn't mean that it doesn't connect to and try to get the body ready for that full connection before the birth, because it usually does, but the full connection comes around physical birth).

My very psychic/intuitive mother told before I even got into the Cayce work, that when my body was born, it was some minutes after the body had been birthed, that she saw a bright light (me/my soul) descend and go into the baby's body. Hence, because of her experience, I was very open minded to what the Cayce work said about this.

It is the SOUL that makes the body a person, not the body itself. Without a Soul connected to the body, the body wouldn't survive outside of the womb for very long, and IF it COULD, it would be nothing like a human as we know and consider it.

When you interact with fellow humans, what you are primarily interacting with, is a Soul that is connected to that body. Everything that you love about your loved ones comes from the Soul connected to that body. You don't love the body, though your body may be attracted to the body of another in the case of romance or marital type connections.

The body is just a hunk of flesh ultimately, and without the Soul fully connected to it, is not a true human being.

So yeah, I don't consider abortion a true murder when the Soul is not even fully connected to that body yet. This is not to say that I agree with getting abortions willy nilly. I think there should be very good reasons, ideally, to get this done and it should not be done lightly. However, I'm ultimately pro-choice no matter what.

The Creator gave us the gift of freewill--the ability to choose to even eschew the Creator and the Creators' ways.

If the Creator has that much regard for freewill, then we should have a very high regard for freewill as well, and again, the death of a hunk of flesh that is not a true human being i.e. doesn't have a Soul fully integrated into it, is not true murder.

I wish women as a whole could be entrusted with this most sacred responsibility. Rightfully, it should be theirs. But modern American women have proven themselves unfit. When well known obgyn's discuss the skin improvement abilities of abortions, when "proud of my abortion" t's and tattoos become popular, when women claim to have had 3rd tri abortions to own the patriarchy, etc .... well, we've crossed a line. And so we desperately try to instill morality via laws. Can the legislature heal a degenerate, irresponsible society? Likely not. But you can bet people are going to try.

Regarding the soul, animals (particularly domesticated animals) have souls yet are not human. The individual spirit, the "I", ownership of which separates us from the animals, attaches to the sacred flesh body upon conception. However you will see hardly a glimpse of that "I" in the child until the 2nd or 3rd year. Observant parents will easily spot this change even if unable to verbalize it. Further, that "I" is not fully incorporated until the 21st year.

Further still, in some cases - and those cases are increasing! - the "I" never fully incorporates. Something as common as autism can be attributed to a wrongly or not fully incorporated "I". And then ofc there are those without an "I" altogether, yet appearing quite human to the untrained eye. The Locusts of Revelation.

See where this is going?

Interesting points, Shura. About the various timing and incorporation of the "I". I have never heard this before.

For me, the overarching principle is that as humans, our soul come into this realm with free choice and as fully sovereign beings whether we are aware of it or not.

There will be decisions we will be called to make, and all decisions have consequences.

Having an abortion -even in cases of rapes- can later show up in a woman's body as infertility, fibroids, growth, OBGYN issues, sexual dysfunctions, and yes in some cases, uterine, cervical or ovarian cancer. Not that the Universe is "Punishing" the woman for her choice, but it is the woman's etheric body that proceeds to later on display certain imbalances because our bodies are crystallized thoughts.

Crystallized thought patterns of fear, anger, resentment, hatred, addiction will always make themselves known.

I think society should agree on an arbitrary term limit for abortions. 6 weeks is cutting it too close for many women. But after 3 months there are valid ethical reasons why abortion could be prohibited.

Just my opinion.
