What in your life would you love to do as a job if you could get paid?
I am not interested in way out things like I would love to be a jazz Dancer

I am interested in parts of you you do for joy now which could become a legitimate job in the real world.
I look forward to people's answers!

I being a Gemini have had many jobs ,hobbies and careers. Some were a partial fit such as counseling, nutrition, music and acupuncture.
Now,I have found my passion and my life feels renewed.
I always felt envious when I would see someone who loved what they did and worked in that field.
I knew I was missing a piece but I had no idea how to find it.
I think we are hardwired to find our passion but we stop ourselves from fear or from wanting social approval.
Am looking forward to hearing people's passions.

Music, music, music, music, psychology, music, dancing, music, music, painting, music.

That's about the size of it

Don't care if I never get paid for any of it, as long as I can use it to help folks, or make them happy.

Tending four leggeds and flowers!!

I am Blessed to be paid for my labor of love, landscaping . To rise every day and smell, touch and feel nature is a gift and reward it`s self ... the money helps pay for the needs of my household and fostering.

My fostering four leggeds is rewarded by happy wagging tails and grinning fur faces.
Life is good

Oh yes, I know, Music Therapy is what I intend to do
I can take the degree in Edinburgh, but I'd like to get my Psychology degree first.

However, if the band gets busy, that's where I'll be.

Yes, I sing, and I write on the keyboard.

Good thread but ought it be at Labors Of Love?

Was not going to move it.
Just making a valid statement about the topic and content of this thread which fits L.O.L.'s description.

I said;
I WAS NOT MOVING IT.
Only making an observation based on forum descriptions.

Sorry NickiG but I feel based on the forum definitions I am indeed correct in my observation.
Also as the L.O.L. description states;
quote:
talk about your dreams, aspirations
Those dreams and aspirations do not mean one would be paid as you said:

If we all place our threads in the high traffic forums instead of the correct forums;
well;
what a mess things would become in a short time.

Sorry my observation offended.
Just only trying to perform my mod duties to the letter.
However even though I feel this is wrong forum was not going to move the thread.
I pretty much figured my suggestion would be met with naysaying.
Hence in the interest of
my making a suggestion rather than moving it as I would usually do.

So,
where should line be drawn?
Do we move some folks' threads but not others if they object?
Even if the thread(s) are in wrong forum?

Randall please feel free to delete my posts on this thread.
Again my intentions were only to make a suggestion based on facts.
Not to cause drama.

I posted a similar topic myself and put it in LOL, which is ideal for the topic; however, I've been allowing some leeway lately, especially in Astrology 2.0 (except for asteroids and some really off-topic strings like that water spout one), since I know some Knowflakes only post in that one Forum. If miscategorizing of posts becomes prevalent, then I will be extra strict again. That being said, LEXX is absolutely correct; however, I did post on this string and chose not to move it then, so I'm marginally okay with it being here. That was a bad answer you gave, though, Ami--posting miscategorized stuff just in high-traffic Forums is something I want to discourage.

I think I left it, because it can loosely be interpreted as having a psychological slant. Anyway, it's okay. If I were a food critic, Ami, I would have to be mean. Plus, I would have to eat at places I don't want to. But eating is definitely my passion. I need to lose 10 pounds, but instead I have gained five. Ugh.

To me your passion seems to be helping people be the best they can be. What a wonderful passion that is

Aw, shucks, ma'am...much appreciated. My passion gets me in trouble sometimes. I have five extra pounds to prove it. Oh, and a few enemies, too, but f*ck those losers.

Well ,when you are an individual the road you walk is made by your own shoes. That is scary but when it is all over you will have counted for something and be remembered for something.
