Has anyone experienced this?

As clean as I like to be body-wise, I'm perpetually messy at home, and am trying to rectify that. I read a book years ago, by Karen Kingston, and there were a lot of positive testimonials/reviews.

I haven't read about it.

But it makes sense to me.

We absorb our surroundings so if they are open and clear, we are open and clear. More free to receive what we need.

Also for me, decluttering is a ritual of pushing back against inertia. Especially if I've looked at an item for a while that has been misplaced, but keep passing over it. Like a book that I keep on the stairs but belongs up in the bookshelf.

Why do I even keep that book on the stairs???

What's that symbolic of?

Not to psychoanalyze too much, but it shows too much willingness to let everything be, without seeing clearly enough how I can actively be a part of improvement. So moving the book becomes a symbolic gesture and reminder to myself, "Yes, you can improve it, you can always improve."

I tend to clean in spurts and marathons and it took me a while to get into the habit of what I call microcleaning...which is picking things up all the time, whenever I'm mobile in the house. Still there are those issues, like the book on the stairs, that get passed over again and again. Something is always reflecting my tendency toward non-interference.

Which is why I like being out in nature, actually.

Non-interference is more acceptable there.

I never heard of an earth void who is a clean freak

Stick up your chart, if you want.

Hi Ami,

I can't get an accurate chart, don't know birth time, or
how to get it.

You can estimate the birth time. You can put it at 12 Noon but tell me, if you do

You can make a chart at Astro.com and save it to a Photo bucket and put it up, if you want.

Maybe by making room physically by decluttering and cleaning up, you also make room for good energy to come your way.

I think the house is missing a lot of good energy, as well - as in, happy times. Things are better than they were a year ago, but we aren't, if that makes sense.

I really wish some of my friends lived in the area, so that they could come around and spend the day just chatting. I don't mean for the purpose of house clearing, just because I wish I could spend time with them. I really miss the days when we had visitors, or even just spent time together ourselves. I'm thinking about friends from here, as well, not just people I already know offline.

I'm long overdue a clear-out myself. Waiting for the charity shops to open up so I can recycle the stuff we don't need that's still in good condition. I hate waste.

Teasel ~ for me doing this really relieves headspace too. Clutter or misbalanced areas are unknowingly affective over our thinking + feeling. Energy working enhances the recognition of this. I am so greatful when Virgo energy steps into me. The flow of energy is much easier. I recall my days on computers, I consistently was defragging my machine. It was so nice after I would do that. Just like slipping into clean sheets at bedtime. 💙

i can be like this, need a lighter, look for the one i know is under the bed

@teasel

there is truth to it in the sense that outsides can reflect insides, and very frequently people who fall into depression fail to maintain things

i think there's a difference however between not being organized and being dirty, the latter is a larger indicator of issues

but small things can shift energy, in an occult sense that's just true and a basic principle found in many systems, that's part of the point in things like ritual

ive noticed over the years that rearranging things, throwing stuff out etc often precipitates major life changes like moving and so on, for me anyway not sure why 🤷‍♀️

can also just change your mood to change your surroundings, even outside of organization use of color and so on can have a large impact on people

I'm about to dive into releasing unneeded or un-salvageable items. Started over the weekend in the garage anyhow.
Definitely will be good timing too my Natal DNA is almost cnj the transit Mars. I feel the energy shifting. My body is next to get this "declutter" of. So to speak. Already have goto activities; however with our surroundings more tidy, indoor gyms work so much better.
