In an attempt to bring attention to the issue of unlawful traffic stops by police impersonators, Gavin Seim of Washington state flagged down a police officer.

The former Republican congressional candidate and self-proclaimed "liberty speaker" stopped a Washington state police officer last week because he was driving an unmarked vehicle.

Seim asked the officer if it was a registered unmarked vehicle for undercover work.

When the officer replied that it was a patrol car, Seim informed him of the law, saying, "You're not allowed to have patrol cars that are unmarked, are you aware of that?"

In the state of Washington, police are allowed to drive unmarked vehicles for special undercover work but not for regular patrols. This is not a national law.

Seim then went through all the normal steps of a traffic stop: taking the officer's name and asking to see his license. Then after a lengthy discussion about the law, Seim let him off with a warning. He urged the officer to speak with his bosses about their illegal patrol cars.

On a side note, sorry for kind of freaking out in my religion thread, it was a rough day in general and I was annoyed that my thread about cops was closed because other ppl brought up religion when it had nothing to do with the topic really and then got offended and nasty when anyone disagreed.

But still I was being overly dramatic and confrontational too so I just wanted to say sorry and I don't want to have bad blood with anyone here despite differences in opinions on religion lol. I just didn't want ppl being attacked in my thread because of it either..

People need to read very carefully what was said.
WHAT was said is WHAT was meant and nothing more. I caught the flack and I neither brought religion into that thread NOR did I present my own religious views OR attack another religion.
I attacked another person's MOTIVES as I saw them.
People should actually READ.
I may not have the best communication skills in the world but what I SAY, is absolutely as direct as anyone on the planet. I do not leave lines to read between. So what you saw said by me is exactly what I meant and I can tell you what you didn't see....
Me even mentioning my religious views, period.
Or attacking another's religion.

All motives, from beginning to end.

Look, read, and think about it.
Too many people are like cocked and ready guns just waiting to attack another over religion. I get accused exactly that when I'm the only one who did not, if you TRULY read, and understand.
I (or anyone who replied to her) was set up for a trap, for this. It was a trap for an attack when I simply called out the trap, YOU ALL made it a religious war. It was exactly what I called it out to be... Look at it! I was 100% right.

Also, I rarely apologize and this isn't even close to getting one from me.

Even to this point as I type these last words... I STILL haven't expressed my religious views or attacked anyone else's.

If you question her motives fine, I just don't think it is appropriate to attack a girl who is constantly bullied at school and often states on here how upset she is by it. Yeah, Karka isn't perfect and there are times she is in on the arguments as well, but I don't feel this was a time she had bad intent. That's why you caught 'flack' it wasn't a religious thing.

I did actually "read," so thanks for the subtle insult. I would appreciate it in the future if you didn't cuss at me in response to my opinion, your reaction to me in the hearth and home thread was OTT and unnecessary. Telling me to GO ******* READ is never appropriate, neither is subtly hinting that I am stupid, ******* ignorant. Again, I am always open to discussing things, but it needs to be done in a calm and rationale manner.

I don't really even care about the rest of it. I really just want to set the record straight that I attacked no religion, or anyone because of religion. Religious content was there, but had nothing to do with my actions. I think it was a trap to call out one or two individuals (not me). The individual I see as an instigator and it sure as $hit worked, didn't it?

Anyway... I've made my point as clear as I can possibly make it without going through it word for word.

It's bigger than me anyway. This will never end. As long as I've been on forums since mid-late 90's, this stuff has taken place.
