Oh Aquaguy I am so sorry to hear this. From recall you are quite young, too young to lose your mother. Do you have emotional support irl?
We are here for you too Grief brings many different emotions, be free to express them all as they come up. You are in my thoughts.

I'm 29. The hardest part of all this is how sudden it all was. If a time traveler had come to me back in June and told me my mom would be gone before Christmas I would have never believed him. My mom was 62 and seemed so young, healthy, and full of life. Her smile could light up the coldest heart. I always just knew she would live well into old age and be here to see me and my brother get married and have children. It hurts to know that I won't be seeing my mom in this life anymore. I have cried a billion tears and don't see an end in sight. I was always a momma's boy and remember the sorrow I felt when she dropped me off at daycare for the first time as a small boy. Now I'm feeling that feeling times a million. Words can't even begin to describe this hurt.

She was diagnosed with lung cancer less than two months ago. She was fine for most of that period, but declined during the last week or so and was in the hospital. She seemed to be doing okay, but then her heart just stopped Wednesday morning and that was that. She was born on September 2nd and died on December 2nd.

Aquaguy, I can't imagine how difficult this must be with you being so close. She sounds like a fantastic mother for you to have had such a strong bond. I just read your other post, it happened so quickly, you've not had much time at all to prepare. Wish I could give you a big hug. Do you have other supportive family nearby?

The words will come when you are ready, but it's all very raw just now. Try your best to maintain the basics (eating, sleeping, etc). Try not to isolate yourself too much, other supportive people in your life can give you strength when you feel overwhelmed.

When she found out she quit smoking and tried to heal herself by going on a completely raw diet, but it just wasn't meant to be. We just didn't have enough time.

Transiting Saturn was exactly conjunct my natal Saturn when mom passed.

I'm doing okay. I weathered some pretty bad emotional storms, but I came out at peace
