The four archangel stars have moved from where they were 5,000 years ago to the following positions – Antares- 10* Sag. (Fire Sign and called Uriel in the Catholic tradition) watcher of the West Alderbran- 9+* Gem. (Air Sign and called Michael in the Catholic tradition) watcher of the East Fomalhaut- 4* Pis (Water Sign and called Gabriel in the Catholic tradition) watcher of the South Regulus- 30* Leo (Fire Sign and called Raphael in the Catholic tradition) watcher of the North Regulus will move completely into Virgo, an Earth Sign at the end of 2012. We will have the Four Archangel Stars in the Four Elements again. Regulus began the Leo journey around 156 B.C.
REGULUS Cor Leonis, Kalb Constellation: Alpha Leo Longitude 1900: 28LEO26.Longitude 2000: 29LEO50.Declination 1900: +12.27'.Declination 2000: +11.58'.Right ascension: 10h08m.Latitude: +00.27'.Spectral class: B7.Magnitude: 1.35 .Suggested orb: 1 deg. approx.Planetary nature: Mar-Jup Source - winshop.com. This brilliant star was known as the "King" maker~ but when it moves completely into Virgo it will become the "Queen" maker and at the same time it will complete the balance of Fire, Air, Water and Earth once again. And before someone comes back with a caustic reply about the 2012 tie in be it Mayan, apocalyptic or whatever ~ that is not my focus. My focus is the feminine tie in. And the revolutionary signatures. The time period of and the naming of 1 Ceres 1801, 2 Pallas 1802, 3 Juno 1804, 4 Vesta 1807. Balance was the reason given most often for the naming. I think this is a big deal, and that the next 2-3 years are a big deal period.
- The Uranus Pluto cycle - Richard Tarnus notes this cycle in his book Cosmos & Psyche as Epochs of Revolution- Citing the French Revolution [opposition] and 1960's [conjunction]
and writes quote: ..Yet of course in the larger historical context the similarity of these two periods was actually not unique, and as I examined the planetary tables further, I soon found that the precise coincidence of this particular planetary cycle with both the 1960s and the French Revolutionary era was in fact part of a much larger pattern. For it turned out that cyclical align¬ments of Uranus and Pluto—specifically the conjunction and opposition (the two axial alignments, equivalent to the New Moon and Full Moon alignments of the Sun and Moon in the lunar cycle but on a much larger and longer scale)—consistently occurred in close coincidence with periods in past centuries that were marked by equally extraordinary widespread and sustained social upheavals and radical cultural change, in an apparently systematic manner extending back in time for as far as we have adequate historical records..... ....To recapitulate briefly the nature of the archetypal principles associated with these two planets: The planet Uranus appears to be correlated with events and biographical phenomena suggestive of an archetypal principle whose essential character is Promethean: emancipatory, rebellious, progressive and innovative, awakening, disruptive and destabilizing, unpredictable, serving to catalyze new beginnings and sudden unexpected change. The planet Pluto, by contrast, is associated with an archetypal principle whose character is Dionysian: elemental, instinctual, powerfully compelling, extreme in its intensity, arising from the depths, both libidinal and destructive, overwhelming and transformative, ever-evolving. On the collective level, the archetypal principle associated with Pluto is regarded as possessing a prodigious, titanic dimension, empowering, intensifying, and compelling whatever it touches on a massive scale.
- Chiron return to Pisces (last seen '69)
- Neptune ingress Pisces
- Uranus ingress Aries
- Saturn once the outermost planet goes Scorpio.
There is specific revolutionary energy. How do you think Regulus fits in with a sign change to Virgo? What scocio/political elements might be expressed? How do you think the outer planet *bridge* Chiron plays? IP: Logged |

It's almost practically been in Virgo in the Tropical chart anyway. My sun and mars conjuncts it at the tail end of Leo on the Anaratic. Funny story: my mother would sometimes call me King Harlan(my name) when I was little. I identify with being a Virgo much more than I do with being a Leo as my Stellium is right on the cusp, but she said this because evidently I had a very strong will when I was younger. Evidently I had very bad allergies and health issues too that weren't being addressed because they weren't diagnosed yet, and it altered my personality some until they were dealt with. After that, I became much less of a hassle to deal with as a kid. IP: Logged |

palin as president? i think queen would be more to her liking...she started her public life as a beauty queen, didn't she??it's true, right now it is near-as-dammit in virgo but the actual change IS a big deal, since these bodies move SO SLOWLY... i agree, node, there is a very revolutionary tinge to the upcoming few years astrologically. civil war is equally possible, though a revolution here would probably INCLUDE that... one thing that reassures is the aries uranus energy which is anything but totalitarian in its tastes...individualism will be running really high whatever else is in the mix! and with pluto trawling through the sign of structures and big business/govt there will be some big changes. the earth itself seems to be expressing pluto in cap these days, earthquakes and volcanoes erupting and shaking her structure up somewhat... my Saturn is at 0'30 Virgo, so this will have an impact. of course it's been conjunct since i was born but it becoming more precise and entering the same sign means a lot, i think. i don't know how it will impact though.the other royal stars Antares and Aldebaran are cj my AC/DC, so this is kind of a big deal to me. my Sun is also cj. Galactic Centre, and i kind of like to see it as my tuning more into the universal balance or something... i have no idea! IP: Logged |

http://www.aquamoonlight.co.uk/fixedstars.html Sirius 14’ Cancer/14’ 13 – fortunate – Jupiter/mars Ambition, pride, emotionality, fame, leadership, wealth, fires, drought, danger through impetuosity. Sirius was worshipped in many cultures; its heliacal rising signalled the peak of summer, the annual flooding of the Nile and the beginning of the ancient Egyptian calendar Regulus, spica & Sirius alderbarren -are the best Algol, antares – worst http://www.astrologycom.com/fixedstars.html#Cancer Now let’s look at Antares. Ptolemy gives it the nature of Mars and Jupiter, but, since it is the Heart of the Scorpion, what do you think? As you are now imagining, Antares is very volatile and Mars-like, associated with rashness, stubbornness, destructiveness, and violence. The native would be given to extremes, for either good or ill. Bernadette Brady states that people with Antares prominent may well cause their own undoing – they may have to conquer themselves first before they can make a contribution to others. Brady notes Antares prominent in the charts of Nelson Mandela, Agatha Christie, and, a personal favorite, Joan of Arc http://www.astrologyinstitute.com/Fixed_star_lessons/lesson_three.htm “According to Ptolemy it is of the nature of Mars and Jupiter. It causes malevolence, destructiveness, liberality, broad-mindedness, evil presages and danger of fatality and makes its natives rash, ravenous, headstrong and destructive to themselves by their own obstinacy. [Robson*, 136.] Riches and honour, violence, sickness, benefits seldom last Antares makes people tough, belligerent and pugnacious. This is an important star for military personnel and is said to convey mental alertness, strategic ability and courage and to make dare-devils, especially if tied up with the MC, Ascendant, Sun or Jupiter.” http://www.constellationsofwords.com/stars/Antares.html regulus http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14682 http://www.astrologycom.com/fixedstars.html http://www.regulus-astrology.com/ http://www.aquamoonlight.co.uk/fixedstars.html http://www.astrologyinstitute.com/Fixed_star_lessons/lesson_two.htm http://www.constellationsofwords.com/stars/Regulus.html http://www.astrology-central.com/stars/Regulus.htm http://darkstarastrology.com/regulus/
