From your work with them, do you think this lends a flavor to the asteroid effects?IP: Logged |

Yes.And yes, I think the discovery chart sheds light on the asteroids. At least some other astrologers seem to think so. IP: Logged |

Karma, Juno, Amor, Valentine, Eros, Psyche, (Aphrodite and Cupido - they are not "deep", but deliciously attractive). (plus Nessus and Dejanira as thanks to IQ and Ami) I also look at the true Black Moon (h13 on astro.com) and yes, both, synastry and composite For me personally I also check ANGEL and ATLANTIS, but this is due to the fact that these are exactly conjunct my ASC and conjunct my NN as well. They are not indicative of romantic synastry though, but bear some significance.

btw Aphrodite is a Libra, too. She was discovered the SAME day as Cupido,a nd I feel they are similiar in terms of attraction, just feminine and masculine.IP: Logged |

To see the different nuances of asteroids, this is a possible "checklist". (it is just one of many possible of course, but might help to keep an overview): I. identity objects: ASC, Sun, Moon (chartruler, ruler of ASC)
II. Karma: Saturn, nodal axis, KARMA III. attraction / relationships: 1. intimacy, closeness, soulfulness (not necessarily romantic nor sexual): Moon, AMOR, PSYCHE 2. romantic attraction: Venus, VALENTINE, JUNO 3. passionate sexual attraction, often transformative, indicative of sexual intimacy Pluto, True Black Moon (h13), EROS 4, sexual attraction, often selfcentred, sizzling, but not necessarily laced with deep emotional involvement: Mars, APHRODITE, CUPIDO IV. challenging and supportive factors
1. CHALLENGES, possible hurtful experiences, hurt and healing NESSUS (Dejanira), Chiron 2. SUPPORT: Jupiter, ANGEL IP: Logged |
