I have this conjunct the Sun.Does anyone know anything about it?------------------

MYTHOLOGYThe name Bienor means "strong man." In the one myth I could find, he was definitely a strong Centaur. And, like many of the other Centaurs, we find Bienor attending Pirithous' wedding, and (of course) taking part in the battle with the Lapiths. Several Centaurs had already been slayed, many by Theseus, and one named Aphareus, in his rage, sought to avenge their deaths and kill Theseus by hurling a rock he had torn from the mountainside. But, as he tried, "Theseus caught him with his oaken club and broke the massive bones of his elbow. Having neither time nor desire to inflict further injury on his worthless body, he leaped onto tall Bienor’s back, unused to carrying anything but its owner, and, pressing his knees into the centaur’s flanks, and clutching the mane with his left hand, he shattered the face, the mouth uttering threats, and the solid temples, with his knotted club. ------------------

Having a discussion with a well known astrologer on the social website.
He tells me that this asteroid means integrity.
That resonates with me cuz for my whole life, integrity was the most important thing to me.
My grandmother taught me about your reputation.
I took it to heart.
Now, I am going out in the world with a new career so will have more opportunity to practice integrity.
Zane gave me the names of some famous people with this asteroid conjunct the Sun.
I will look them up and be back.------------------

He says " I think there is more to it than that as well. One of the people who most typifies Bienor is Margot Adler. Bienor 26 Aries 08 conjunct Sun 25 Aries 50 in the 1st, opposition Moon 25 Libra 47, square Mars 17 Cancer 17.
Principled people. You mentioned Alan Alda. Here was a man that was so against war that at first he refused to accept the role in MASH, but finally consented when it was written into his contract that every episode he was in had to have at least one scene in the operating room to show the horrors of war ------------------

Bienor: Bienor was a centaur killed during a fight at the wedding of Pirithous, King of the Lapiths. Mark Andrew Holmes lists the following descriptives for this asteroid: exuberance, expansion, empowerment, liberalism, generousity, love of others, compassion, cooperation or alternatively, condemning, hateful, judgmental, doomed effort, being attacked or becoming trapped.------------------

Bienor reminds me of Scorpio in that you can manifest the low part or the high part------------------

All my bunch of asteroids in my chart feels strange.... also this one persephone 6 conj bienor 7 conj mercury 7 conj uranus 8 conj kaali 9 conj hekate 9 conj pluto 12 in virgo...bienor also in parallel to mercury and uranus and kaali. Ive no ide about how this one works togheter with the other. IP: Logged |
