In everyone's travels with asteroid astrology, has anyone come across asteroids that definitively (in your view) deal with machines outright?

In particular, lately I'm having some problems with machines and technology that involve liquid in some way. Examples:
- Earbud headphones that failed partially in one ear after I attempted to clean them (carefully) with q-tips and rubbing alcohol (in a way that alcohol wouldn't drip down into the tiny speakers. No dice).
- The blender that was leaking (bad seal/blade was coming loose), that after one use of a new bottom and seal managed to crack between the time I put it in the sink (carefully, as it's glass) and the time my dad checked the sink to wash some dishes.

Or am I just seeing something related to the upcoming Mercury Retrograde in Cancer (water sign), will station retrograde on my Black Moon Lilith and will travel back to station direct directly on my Sirius/Nessus T-Square Eris in Aries and Mars/Pluto/Venus in Libra (with opposing transit Pluto and square transit Uranus completing a Grand Cross by transit).

This is getting maddening and my car's due for an oil change next week, and that whole oil being liquid thing is not filling me with the utmost of confidence.

Guess I should consider myself and dad lucky that the blender glass didn't shatter and cut anyone. Guess I should also mention that I walked out the other day and saw dad left a burner on the oven on. Good thing I didn't get up to leave the house before then.

I haven't checked where Ohno or BAM are transiting at this point. Flammeus for that matter (not aquatic but given the stovetop thing this might be significant).

LOL....see if you can get someone to drive your car in and have the oil changed! It'd be worth the hassel!
But if your dad left the burner on, i wouldnt suggest him right now. Sounds like hes having his own transit issues! Id hate to see the car go up in flames, better you, you'd only drowned the car, sounds like his transits might end up burning it!
Regarding the stove...might check

As far as the other, ill have to think about it...im not coming up with anything now

How convenient, this is being squared by transit Mercury station Retrograde.

That Mercury Retrograde is activating all sorts of nasty stuff right now on my end. Had to leave work early today due to dad getting stranded, this on the same day I'm 10 minutes late to work because someone at the notorious 581/81 split couldn't be bothered to pay attention and folded their front-end right into a tractor trailer's backside it looked like, which jammed everything for miles. (This stretch is also one of the big-name stretches the PA legislature and governor are trying to promote as a reason to pass the transportation bill being proposed right now so they can at least put an extra lane in each direction at that split).

Back to dad, he had a part replaced six weeks ago and it self-destructed already. Then I get to him, get the part, we stop to eat lunch, and I get my taillight out indicator lighting. So I figure get over to the parking lot where Dad's parked, probably have to reseat the upper brake light again. I turn lights off, and the indicator stops which didn't happen when the upper brake light had a problem.

Turns out the tail light truly did fail. Not only failed, but due to a crack in the lens, rain and moisture had gotten in and completely corroded the bulb into the fixture. After a bit of WD-40, needlenose pliers, Calcium-Lime-Rust remover, Q-tips and a lot of swearing on my part, got the old bulb out and cleaned it enough to resurrect the Taillight socket. But both the cover AND the socket are going to have to be replaced in the long run. So AGAIN: Technological Failure due to Moisture.

Plus I found out the whole promotion/reclassing thing at work is hitting a snag. My supervisor got an email at the end of the day. I asked what the verdict was and his response? He has to talk to his supervisor and the department head because he couldn't make heads or tails of it, but it sounded like there's additional flaming hoops to go through. Meanwhile, a coworker who they tried to voluntarily reclass/promote is STILL sitting and spinning, and probably is pushed back further because my slot was randomly pulled for audit. It's been close to nine months now. Department head is p!**ed about that one, and he is very slow to anger or annoy so you know the camel's back is getting very stressed. The job chart transits with those asteroids? ...I'll get to that later.

Sorry this got long but I had to vent. This Mercury retrograde can kiss my...

I am noticing another mechanical problem, this one arguably air-element related:

Window air conditioner has failed. (Stopped cooling). I even let it sit idle the whole day today as I had no idea if it was iced over or not and it was a hot and humid day.

Plenty of heat and humidity with thunderstorms. It's calling for sporadic thunderstorms for the next ten days minimum.

If things are going to break down, I would appreciate if the timing would be better. The universe rarely operates according to our schedules, however...

I'll have to check those asteroids though. I'm pretty sure my Sedna is at ~5 degrees Taurus, all but trine Saturn by wide (~2 deg) orb and quincunx Ascendant. Come to think of it, I think it sextiles Kaali in Cancer.

hmmm what else shows water mechanical problems?

Am on the opposite side of Earth, and my own air condition this morning started flooding with water, like a waterfall in the room....and it can't be fixed till after the weekend...

Here Sedna sextiles Nessus,
squares absolus,
sextiles Industria...

but at really wide degrees.

Meanwhile RX Mercury Karma....

Good news: Air conditioner is replaced, after a little elbow-grease, a lot of duct tape (my own design to keep out bugs/mice. Yes, mice. Had a problem a few years ago), and a metric crapton of swearing.

Bad news: in the process of helping me, dad all but dislocated his shoulder and is very sore. Plus brush-burned his leg when he fell.

I didn't bother checking for medical asteroids, but Saturn having briefly touched my 12th cusp/Uranus months ago before it turned retrograde seemed to imply fatherly health problems if I remember IQ's interpretation earlier correctly.

This is getting ridiculously stupid.

I know how A/C's throwing water can be... several years ago I was living in an apartment with a couple friends three hours away and the first air conditioner we got with the apartment loved to throw water to the point maintenance had to repeatedly come up and suck up the water with a shop-vac. It was eventually replaced after several polite, increasing to stern, calls to the landlord office.

Knowing my mentality at the time it is a good thing I didn't make those calls.

LOL about you 'not' making these calls...sounds like where i am atm.

Sorry about your dad hurting himself like that, that was nasty!! hope he feels better soon though!

now in the meanwhile, such mercury is RX, it is typical that i call and they say they are busy till after the weekend, so 'waterfalls' until Monday....think i'll just go get some plants decorate this AC with it, and then hmm don't know? perhaps some pixies and nymphs running around it to, but just for another 3-4 days... -_-

if you see how much water is falling you'd think we solved the water scarcity problem for the rest of the world!

ah that was Mercury RX squaring my Karma in the previous post...
