I'm not finding much information on this (and what I am finding is basically repetitive and sounds paranoid).

However, having a Virgo Moon and a tendency to worry, I will say that I have Pluto at 8 Libra (as I would have to imagine many people do).

The odd thing is that my husband's MC is at 7 Libra, my son's Pluto is at 7 Capricorn, and my son's asteroid Karma is at 7 Aries.

Anyone have anything to say about this that doesn't reek of doom and gloom? I don't care for the doom and gloom declarations, but I'm open to level-headed interpretations.

I find it an odd configuration (and very unpleasant when anything hits 7 degrees of a Cardinal sign).

I really get worried about this one. Well, the star had moved from 8' Libra by now, I think it is currently at 10' Libra, but the description of a "widower" if it conjuncts a personal planet was confirmed with a friend of mine who has Venus at 8' Libra, and his wife recently died of cancer at the age of 38 , leaving two small babies in his hands and him a widower at a very young age. So bad.

My guy's Mars is at 7'50 Libra and I wonder if........ah, no.

"On the MC or on the Ascendant this star with its Saturn-Mercury nature is said to help mental concentration and to promote the type of native who engages for architects and businessmen.

Tied up with Mars, it results in increased power of thought, tending sometimes to sarcasm and polemics."

1950 Nov 11 9li15 18"
2015 Nov 11 10li09 43

Cannot push those stars any faster than the GC generally speaking.

^ I read the last interpretation somewhere, also.

I wonder if it has to be a personal planet in order to be of concern? Are there people out there who have personal planets conjunct these stars, and have lived healthy, reasonably normal lives? I would think there would have to be...

well, yes, that what I've read - personal planets and more importantly Venus.
Conjunctions only, orb 1.40

I would define personal planets as luminaries and chart ruler? I'm "asking" that, because I still get mildly confused with house rulers, their importance, etc.

I wonder why Venus? I guess the widow/widower aspect of love and marriage?

I'm really sorry to hear about your friends and their little ones.

Hmm... I dunno.

My dad, who has been married twice, is retired, and has been happily (reasonably) married to my step-mom for over 30 years (and my mom is thankfully also still living), has his Libra Neptune/Venus conjunction like so:

(Sun is chart ruler, and Moon is in Pisces.)
Vindemiatrix at 9.12 Libra
Neptune at 10.19 Libra
Venus at 11.05 Libra

That's rather close, I think?
His Sun is at 4.25 Libra.

I don't know, his Venus isn't conjunct by less than 1.4 degrees, and Neptune isn't exactly a personal planet, although he does have the Pisces Moon.

That's helpful though, right?

personal planets are sun, moon, venus, mars.

the original degree of this stars is 8'50 libra

it's currently at approx 10' libra, but if we precess the fixed stars, then we have to move our natal planets as well along with the fixed stars. so, i still regard it as 8'50 libra for simplicity

its been said that planets in 8' libra are the ones affected. your father doesnt have this aspect, thou.

you may want to google it. I am starting to feel not so worried after all..

I tried to google it, lol. All I got was the doom and gloom interpretation, and the one reasonable interpretation that you quoted.

With my Virgo Moon, I worry as well (although doom and gloom predictive astrology really grates on my nerves, too).

I mean, my son's Sun is at 24 Taurus, but I have a lot of relatives who have lived reasonably normal lives, at least into middle-age, and their Suns are at 26 Taurus (as an example).

I don't know what causes such things to manifest...

I do have a friend (my best friend, as a matter of fact) who was widowed at a very young age (19 years old), and she does have a Libra stellium. I'm not sure why this only just occurred to me, maybe because I block out the tragedies in my life, until I'm ready to deal with them.

Her chart is as such:

Vindemiatrix at 9.35
MC at 9.47
Venus at 11.29.

Her Pluto is also at 7.08, which is of course generational.

I don't know...

I mean, people defy astrological stereotypes every day, and then other people keep the stereotypes going every day as well.
It's really difficult to say.

Eh...but then, my step-mom has her Asc at 8.5 exactly (Vindemiatrix is at 9.24 in her chart). So, I don't know what to make of that, my dad has been married to her for decades.

well, ASC degree changes fast with a change of minutes in the birth time. One never knows if the birth time was written correctly to the minute

Seriously.
If not, I suppose we'll have to do our own research. Most Libras I know, coincidentally, are born either September 28, or October 11. It's downright odd.

But the Sun is never conjunct Vindemiatrix then, so it's hard for me to say. I'll look around at the multitude of Virgo folk I know! *lightbulb flashes above head*

Hm.
Well, my cousin has his asteroid Karma at 7.47 Libra (weird how we all have Karma or outer planets/axis points at 7-8 degrees of Cardinal signs in my family, but 7-8 Libra is a big hit for us).
His birth chart shows Vindemiatrix at 9.29.

He's been married to the same woman who was his high school sweetheart (sort of) for decades.

But...weirdly, Courtney Love's asteroid Spirit is conjunct Vindemiatrix by minutes.

Eh. I don't know, I'm looking at all the Libra/Virgo people I have charts for, or people who are widows/widowers.

It still seems a bit like a coin toss to me, but I'll keep looking.

F.S. Vindemiatrix
I have this at 9.19'36" Libra H10.

Here are some notes I had scribbled into my notebook, but I can't locate my ref to credit the source.

Death of a partner (dramatic)
Betrayal
Helps mental concentration
Works (in employment) for architects or business men
Increased power of thought
Tending sometimes to polemics and sarcasm

(Sometimes death isn't a literal death. It can be as mild as a change that (you or) your partner might not even have noticed? )

Helps with mental concentration powers would always be a bliss-opportunity for me. The polemic speech with a touch of sarcasm seems to get pronounced for me during certain transits.

(Don't worry? ... I've got one of those Virgo Moons too. I understand. Take good care!)

btw, my guy is an Aries BUT with a Virgo Moon and Rising.
He is adorable in a peculiar kind of way. I enjoy his little quirks, but only because my Virgo Sun gets them.
It is just cute watching him smearing with dedication a sizable portion of hand sanitizer on the exact spot on his skin where someone happened to touch him by accident.

Ahahaha! My Leo husband has Virgo Mercury, and he does the hand sanitizer thing, ha. My Pisces Sun is like "Pfft." But I laugh in a good way.

My Moon is at 5 Virgo, and my NN is at 5 Sag. My Sun is at 6 Pisces (the weird thing there is that my Sun is at 6.45, and my Moon is at 5.46).

Where is your Virgo stuff at?

Ahahaha! Thank you, Mirage. That description does suit my H3 Pluto trine Mercury pretty well.

Ah.

For me, the square has manifested (twice) as a time when other women are particularly unpleasant, or when I just don't feel as confident as I should, or could.
