Which makes all kinds of sense to me because (without checking Sabians or synastry or reading Alice in Wonderland) (1) I am descended on my father's side from a(n ancient) hatter who probably died from the chemicals used in his occupation, (2) Mercury rules my DSC, and (3) my mother was a quintuple Capricorn who I loved deeply but who always managed to drive me insane.

And now that I check synastry with my mother:My Madhatter conjunct her Mercury (3)
her Jupiter (1)
quincunx her Pallas (1) and Her Madhatter sextile my Mercury (0s)
sextile my Venus (1)
square my Neptune (1)
biquintile my ASC (0)
quintile my MC (0) Trust me, in this context, a sextile is not necessarily an easy aspect. [If I'm the only one this synastry amazes, that is okay. It makes perfect sense to me]. Edit: Oh, and while we're at it, our Madhatters mutually touch each others 8th house. IP: Logged |

I am trying to hone this down and this is what it seems like to me. Any comments are welcomed!The person has had all sorts of strange and nonsensical things happen to them such that there life made little sense and they were blamed for things they did not do. I can see this being a nutty childhood. ------------------

I have been checking everyone and a person who seemed quite problematic for me has it conjunct his Jupiter. It makes a lot of sense. I think this asteroid will be a real way for people to understand themselves which is always my goal!------------------

My mom was crazy, my dad disappeared in thin air, we moved constantly, everyone said one thing then did another ...pure insanity! You've seen my chart a long time ago with all the "Alice in Wonderland" asteroids....they touch me everywhere!! Even the cute little odd balls, tweedledee and tweedledum are on my NN!! Red queen is opposed madhatter on my cancer MC(my moms a red head, lol)one of the asteroids is on my moon and another on my AC but I can't remember which ones!IP: Logged |

Personally I've always taken them to mean a person who is easy to get along with, doesn't want to fight or be contradictory just wants to allow peace to rule them!
And that is where I'm headed in life, I'm tired of fighting I just want everyone to get along and stop thinking our differences are a reason to fight and hate others...they make us unique and special, not an enemy!

No they don't!! Right now they square each other by a couple degrees!

I know the new one...I never read the original though!
It is fascinating and yes Alice was the sane one amongst all these crazy people and her innocence and desire to understand them instead of judge them is what kept her from losing her mind! She didn't get angry at them for not answering her questions with straight answers or puzzling her more than helping her.....she just listened with curiosity and fascination! Eventually what they said made sense to her and answered her questions once all the pieces where in place for her to see it!
Thats what we must do in order to preserve our sanity in an insane environment!
Judgement makes you turn hard, hard things can break....but fascination keeps you soft and flexible and able to bend, like a child!
Its the only way to remain open and not lose your zeal and happiness in life even when times are tough, eventually it will all work out and you will understand it all...you just have to trust the path your on instead of judge it, and look at everything with fascination instead of frustration and wonder how does this fit in and what do I need to learn from it?
