i was thinking about this and i think it would make sense that any asteroid conj your ascendant has some affect on your appearance as well as your interests?
i had read somewhere online that certain asteroids, when conjunct your ascendant can make you more "goth" and give you paler skin, or give you a more regal look, and some even affect what TV shows you like (if the asteroid is named after a character from the show)  i checked a good amount of asteroids, none of the major ones are conjunct my ascendant but i did find that the asteroid california (341 on astro) is right there!
i grew up all my life desperately wanting to move to california (i finally live here now yay) and even before moving here people always told me i looked like/came off as a california girl. i tan very easily and my hair somehow went from brown to blonde without bleach so i guess the stereotypical california look comes naturally to me 
so now i'm wondering, which asteroids do you have on your ascendant and do you think this affects your appearance or your interests? IP: Logged |

I have Einstein, Discovery, Sado, Bella, Young, Erda, and Pluto conjunct my ACSo I'm an intense, sadistic, destructive, highly intuitive pretty scientist with crazy hair that grows younger...yep that's me! Well, the way you eliminate karma is through the violet flame... That's by using mental and voice alchemy. 
I have Adonis and Athene conjunct my Ascendant in Libra.

edited Jun13, add Mentor to that but I doubt that is APPARENT.Mucha and Telemachus Devota and interkosmos for sure I am seen often deep in thought or NOT HERE, I guess that also includes still.
Maybe we should also be looking at the dsc, it is an AXIS, and everything on that end opposes,NO? ------------------

The closest and the only asteroid within 1 degree of my Asc is Balakrishna - the child Krishna (Hindu god). So, I should resemble a cute cuddly baby. Nope!Next closest is Moira ..... like Karma. IP: Logged |

Eros conjunct ascendant gives a erotic tone to the appearance of the man or woman. Angel gives an angelic appearance. Apollo makes him/her handsome and inclined towards music. IP: Logged |

Eros = erotic may be overplayed. Both my Son and his fiancé have Eros conj Asc. A rare thing, but I dont see either as exuding great sex appeal. What they both have in common is instant appeal and general liking by all and sundry. In fact, the appreciation and acceptance they receive from all kinds of people is quite remarkable. What else do they have in first house or any sweet trines or sextiles etc.? Because I have seen people having eros conjunct MC attract lovers like magnet. They also use their eros professionally as in showbiz if they are in it. Of course, some of them have mars conjunct venus aspect. But eros is a sort of a vibe. Yes, everyone does fall in love with them but sometimes eros provokes jealousy as well. IP: Logged |

They both have their Suns in the first house. Many other similarities too as they are born 2 months apart. They both have Venus and Mars in the 12th.She - Leo Sun and Asc. I can only think that Venus and Mars in 12th give them a subdued sexual appeal. But as both of them are conjunct the ascendant they should be coming across as quite charismatic especially adding the Sun in the first house. Sun commands attention and usually gets it in an effortless way. With Venus and Mars coming close to the ascendant, it will add magnet to the aura. Eros should be outlining it with his vibe.
