exactly on your DESC? Wow!Are you drawn to bohemian or alternative lifestyle?
Bohemia is on 13 Aquarius in my 2nd house (another asteroid we seem to have in opposing signs. lol)
widely conjunct Moon, but 4 degrees is a bit wide I guess doesn`t really do anything to my major planets though it trines my Aphrodite on 13 Libra. IP: Logged |

I have Iris right in that same location too - apparently Iris is also linked to the whole 'flower child, hippie' thing as well.
The odd part is, while I actually share a LOT of the philosophical and political views hippies have, I've actually never really found the the lifestyle itself all that interesting or fascinating, in fact I dislike it. I immediately think of silly, smelly people walking down the street barefoot with an acoustic guitar, talking like a space cadet to everyone they meet then going home and smoking pot all day, every day. I used to love watching South Park and every time they made an "I Hate Hippies" joke I found it hilarious. IP: Logged |

I have it 25 deg in Gemini house 1 trine Mars in Aquarius house 10
A lot of people I socialize with(Gemini lol) smoke pot.I do sometimes. Nothing worth doing everyday. I have a guy friend that walks around with bare feet. And I can't stand guys that think they will get laid just because they can sorta play guitar...I'm not phased by people that pull out their guitar at party's and stuff...for some reason I think it's not amusing. My parents use to be hippies. With their hash bashing, guitars, long hair, all that jazz. IP: Logged |

My bohemia has exact conjunction with my vertex and eros.... It also sextiles Pluto with 1.5 degree, trine Saturn with 1 degree and squares mercury with 2 degree. Quintile Sun.İt is in 7th house and in virgo. How can we do explanation about this placement?

I have Bohemia in Pisces tightly conjunct my North Node at a 0 degree orb. I'm a free spirit but that has more to do with being dominant Uranus, however Pisces is intercepted in my first house and my North Node and Bohemia are in the first. I've got a lot going on there. I'm a huge supporter of alternative living including alternative medicine however I do not support any form of drug or alcohol use or abuse. I attract hippies and many lost souls but they're always major druggies. I try to help but I end up having to quickly cut off those relationships because I don't support that behavior. I'm about lucidity, clarity, strengthening the mind and living a substance free lifestyle.

Oh yes I am also into homeopathic medicines...if that stuff can work just as good or better than pills and such...why take something that has side effects?Elderberry's, I swear got rid of my flu in two days. IP: Logged |

A lot of natural stuff isn't side-effect free, either.
Which isn't to say that I'm anti-homeopathy. I'm somewhere right in the middle of the two extremes.

I can appreciate the way bohos/hippies live, but at the same time I'm a city girl at heart. Living in nature, with no civilization would be extremely difficult for me.

I could live in nature and be happy as a pig in slop, I think. At least until winter and below-zero temperatures came. Yesterday I thought up the idea that if something did happen on December 21st, I'm going to quietly move into the middle of a forest out here and live out all my days there. My senior high school project was about the local recycling efforts...and I pointed out the amount of disposable styrofoam and plastic the school cafeteria was using for our lunch service. It baffles me when people don't care about recycling and the amount of garbage we produce. Seeing people obliviously cut down old trees, because they are inconvenient, nearly makes me ill. I live in the country now, after living in NYC area for several years. There was thankfully one large tree I could see out my apartment window, amidst an otherwise dead landscape in a small parking area. I was quite distraught when the elderly landlord chose to cut it down, not wanting to pay for tree service anymore. I had to move out of the city, not long after that! The current ignorant regional zeal for hydraulic fracking for natural gas is baffling to me as well. It feels so apparent to me how "wrong" this kind of treatment of the Earth is.

One of my friends have Bohemia conjunct his Sun EXACT. Yes, he is exactly what the word Bohemia would seem to me. He can sit hours long, smoke a weed in a philosophical atmosphere and it seems so right with him, he couldn't be different. I like him very much maybe even because of that calming and very clean atmosphere, aura around him. IP: Logged |

Can't speak for BP, but I'm thinking they mean more along the lines of how some plants/herbs are therapeutic in certain doses/methods of preparation, but too much (or not being prepared correctly), can make you sick or kill you.
