Twelve Asteroids Conjunct the North Node, The Ascendant Or the MCThe North Node makes for a life THEME. The Ascendant is that which one displays to the outside world, in the sphere of one’s daily life. The MC is that which one shows to the world in one’s career or as one’s reputation in society. Hence, apply the asteroid accordingly.
1. Echo(60)
Echo is the person with no authentic voice. Echo could be what we call the co-dependent. She wants to be liked so badly that she does not want to risk disapproval for her opinions. Hence, a prominent Echo in the natal chart may render one voiceless.
2. Dejanira(157)
Dejanira will, likely, be victimized, through no fault of her own. The chart does play out, whether or not it has the “permission” of the native.
3. Eros(433)
This native is sexy. He is more erotic, which is kind of a subtle sexiness. Eros is more like a black velvet glove. An asteroid like Lilith is more of an overt sexuality, if you know what I mean. An Eros conjunct the Ascendant man can look like a troll and rack up the chicks.
Juno (3)
Juno is the loyal and devoted partner. Those who are fortunate to have her conjunct the NN, Ascendant or MC, likely, have a fine character, in general. These natives will make excellent and loyal friends, as well as spouses.
4. Vesta(4)
Vesta does selfless service. That is her most dominant trait. Think of a Mother Teresa. Giving is it’s own reward for Vesta. She does not expect anything back. Hence, this native will be such a person.
5. Medea(212)
Medea has a very sad story of being betrayed by her husband, Jason. He did her wrong, but she took it up many, many notches in her revenge. He cheated on her. She killed their children. Hence, a person with a strong Medea asteroid may be someone who takes powerful revenge on others.
6. Medusa(149)
Medusa is not the best choice for a relationship. She is the consummate tease. Once she pulls you in, she punishes you. In the myth of old, she turned men to stone. Now, she, likely, uses and abuses them. *Sigh*
7.Eris(136199) Eris has the moniker of being the most annoying of asteroids. People get angry when I say this, but I think Steve Urkel is Eris, in the flesh. Eris likes to espouse causes, as well. In these, she is as annoying as she is in other areas of life. I have Eris radar. I can pick up the mosquito like vibe. I run to the charts. SWAT. There it is.
8 Chaos(19521) Chaos is what the name suggests—-unrest and strife. Some people bring this trait to life and others. If one has a dominant Chaos, one may carry this trait on one’s back, a la Pigpen in the Charlie Brown comics
9. Sado(118230) Sado is sadism, not a nice asteroid to have dominant. However, one does not choose one’s chart. I have had experience with a Libra Moon conjunct Sado relative. Sado is what one would expect it to be. These natives seem to find pleasure in the pain of others.
10. Angel(11911) Some people are real life angels. If this asteroid is dominant, one may see a truly kind and giving person. This asteroid does seem to play out as one would expect.
11.Lust(4386) If Lust is dominant, the native is, likely, high in this trait.
12. Nephele(431) This native may have lost his identity, due to the nature of his childhood, in which he had to take care of the needs of others. If one has a dominant Nephele, one may struggle with this.
