I have Sun sq Moon natally. Ishtar is conjunct my Sun and square my Moon. Innanen/Innana is square my Sun and opposite Moon. These aspects are under 1 degree.May I take some insight on what this could mean?

From what I've read, Ishtar and Innanen in mythology are names ancient cultures have used for Venus, and is associated with the Eight Pointed Star and the lion. They were originally separate deities, but were equated with each other during the reign of Sargon of Akkad and came to be regarded as effectively the same goddess under two different names.
This goddess was revered as the most important deity at some point in time, even more worshipped than the Assyrian's national god, Ashur. There are many mythologies surrounding this deity. Her mythologies consist of her conquering domains and having a hotheaded and spoiled personality. Ishtar/Innana ruled over love, beauty, sex, desire, fertility, war, combat, justice, and political power. Her husband was the god Dumuzid the Shepherd (later known as Tammuz).
Inanna-Ishtar's most famous myth is the story of her descent into and return from the Underworld, in which she attempts to conquer from its ruler, her older sister Ereshkigal; where she's ordered to take off one piece of clothing/jewelry after each one of the seven gates, and then finally enters naked. Instead she's deemed guilty of hubris by the seven judges of the Underworld and struck dead.
She's eventually let free on the condition someone must take her place; and upon finding out her husband hasn't grieved at all, she sends him to the underworld to take her place.
