Most of my life I have had dark circles under my eyes, I was wondering if anyone had suggestions as to what I could eat more of or some sort of treatment for them???
Cucumbers?

Ooo Philly Bird I'm a fellow racoon m'love! I know that dark circles under the eye worsen when you're (anyone's) nearer they're period, so I'm thinking it's to do with blood - therefore iron? Correct me if that's wrong! Also I've heard it's oxygen. Many many eyecreams say they help with everything but cooking dinner, but I use an oxygen eye cream by Karin Herzog that works wonderfully (when I apply it!) A simple Google should find it
In my experience cucumbers are refreshing but no long term substitute to a deep sleep (unless you're going for a crazy new wide-eyed green look )

Hi Sheaa! Great to hear from you, missed you.
I'll google that product.
Doesn't seem to matter what time of month/year, they are there. Somedays darker than others. I honestly do get enough sleep, even naps! Ahhhh naps! Thanks and you take care.

Mine's worse when I'm tired, but it never really seems to go away completely. The one thing I've found that makes a difference is the Cellex-C eye cream, which is based on vitamin C. So maybe try a vitamin C eye cream? It's the only thing I've heard of which gets rid of the dark circles. I was told it encourages the capillaries/blood/whatever to redistribute or something like that. The salesgirl I talked to a long time ago said that she gets a lot of Indian women buying vitamin C eye cream because they have dark undereye circles more naturally than other women.

Wow! I too have had them all my life. So this is pretty interesting to me.

I've also heard, could be bogus, that allergies can cause you to have them as well. But to me that would be more of a on/off sorta deal. Whereas for myself, its been an ongoing, never going away case. Although I guess a person could live with allergies and #1 not know or #2 not treat them.

I think the dark circles are common for moonchildren. I also have them. I use coverup on mine.

I Think Moonchild is another name for Cancerians. I much prefer it to Cancer.

We can all be moonchildren if you want!!!
