Best Speech You Will Ever Hear - Gary Yourofsky

------------------
“It’s an interesting thing. Seeing Kuan Yin relating to a flower so intently. She's not just looking at it; she's interacting with it…I’m seeing how the act of relating to a flower appears to be so simple. Yet, it takes a tremendous amount of courage to make such a “simple” act important. Now, the lotus is floating away.”

He's using NLP!

I can see it now...

I think

Anyway I still think about what he said and those videos still haunt me. That ohio dairy farm (at the end) A shocker! - well that guy is in jail now - up to 8 months and ONLY $1000 fine.

I know- the level of human arrogance and stupidity, first I cried of course, I also cried for him, because you know what I sensed?

He was actually Angry at himself for doing it! (I can point out the part this becomes obvious but I really don't feel like watching it again right now.) And you know what made him feel 'better' about it? Continuing doing it! Not doing it would have made him face his conscience, continuity of his actions rubs it out for now. *sigh* a human soul was not made for that. Also, when he was a toddler/small child would that have been a natural instinct to punch and kick a baby cow? I highly doubt that, somewhere along the way he learned this hatred for himself.

I wonder what could make him wakeup? Or is his soul too severely diseased?

So painful to watch.

And I know it's not really an isolated incident, people in this industry often are very rough and frustrated with the animals, but I think the severity we saw would be less common.
Hopefully.

I could never be fully vegan though, but I always choose cruelty free.

I know vegans disagree with killing an animal at all- however, my spiritual view is quite different to his.

But the core of his messages are beautiful and compassionate ones.

And eggs being a 'chicken's menstral cycle' does not actually put me off that, I know they are and well, farm fresh eggs are yummy and nutritious, a little cholesterol is actually good for you.

They are my only differences.
