I had a dream where someone told me that it was good to brush your teeth with aloe. I am not sure if I heard this in real life and then it showed up in my dream or if I just dreamed it out of the blue. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has ever done this and what you think of it. IP: Logged |

Might taste bitter. I know some who eat it. Haven't heard of anyone brushing with it, but might work, aloe vera seems to work for every thing. Some aloe vera plants could be poisonous tho, I'd be wary.IP: Logged |

Some toothpastes (if I recall) do sometimes contain Aloe. Yep you can google search "tooth paste with aloe vera" Loads of results. "Aloe vera tooth gel is effective in controlling bacteria that causes cavities than other commercially available toothpaste. A. vera gel's ability to kill and remove harmful microorganisms is due to compounds called anthraquinones, which are antiinflammatory." I think I've likely used some but I don't remember anything remarkable or even would seek aloe specific toothpaste for myself. Is there something about your lifestyle that could be affecting your teeth? What's your oral hygiene like? I know that regarding some sicknesses and diseases, the state of our teeth is a good indicator of our overall health.

Hi, thanks for replying!I got the sense from my dream that it meant to use pure aloe. I do have an aloe plant but I am a bit hesitant to try it after hearing it could be poisonious (thanks for the warning). I'm not sure how to tell if it's poisonious so maybe to stay on the safe side I'll try an Aloe toothpaste from the store. I'm looking on Amazon and found one by "Forever Bright Living," not sure if it's any good. I'm not currently experiencing problems but for whatever reason I had this dream. I think it's possible that I'm supposed to stop using conventional toothpastes. They have always irritated me.
