Transiting retrograde Venus conjunct my natal Chiron in 8th was a healing arts transit for me. I joined an essential oils meetup group on March 17th,and I went to the first meeting on March 19th. I want to use essential oils in massage therapy. Venus can be a planet that rules massage and essential oils because Venus involves the senses..especially touch for Venus is sensual. Venus is aesthetic too,and massage can be considered an art. The organizer and I ended up helping each other. She taught me about essential oils, and I gave her information about neurodivergence. She has ADHD herself.

ADD/ADHD (has overlapping symptoms and comorbidity with Dyslexia,Dyspraxia, and autistic spectrum....so the essential oils could help with those conditions)
primary:
vetiver,lavender,cedarwood

sandalwoord,cardamom,peppermint,frankincense

SCHIZOPHRENIA (disorganized type of schizophrenia have overlapping symptoms with neurodivergence like confusion/disorientation,poor coordination, memory problems,left/right confusion, disorganization, speech irregularities....that's why I stress the importance of differentiating neurodivergent conditions from psychiatric disorders......Ronald D. Davis believes that confusion/disorientation is the cause of neurodivergent issues connected to their being primarily a visual, picture, multidimensional thinker)

primary:
peppermint,frankincense

other single oils:
cardamom,cedarwood,vetiver,melissa,rosemary,valerian

THE FOLLOWING HAS TO DO WITH EARS,HEARING.
Dr. Levinson believes that neurodivergent conditions are caused by cerebellar vestibular dysfunction aka vestibular disorder, inner ear problems. He says that inner ear problems can even be a cause for phobias, depression, and anxiety. Vestibular Disorders Association (VEDA) confirms that. Auditory processing problems are common in Dyslexics. They are also common in ADHDers, and it can be misdiagnosed as ADHD. Many auditory, phonological Dyslexics have a history of ear infections and even had tubes in their ears. Glue Ear is a cause of acquired Dyslexia.

EAR ACHE

primary:
niaouli,wintergreen,manuka,melrose

other single oils:
thyme,lavender,tea tree,rosemary,helichrysum,roman chamomile,ravensara,peppermint, eucalyptus radiata

EAR INFECTIONS

HEARING IMPAIRMENT

helichyrsum

other single oils:
juniper,geranium,peppermint,lavender,basil

TINNITUS (Ringing in the ears)

THE FOLLOWING ESSENTIAL OILS CAN BE USED FOR THE FOLLOWING EMOTIONAL,PSYCHOLOGICAL ISSUES THAT ARE COMMON ISSUES WITH NEURODIVERGENCE. SOME OF THEM COULD BE SECONDARY PSYCHOLOGICAL SYMPTOMS TO THE NEURODIVERGENCE ITSELF. THAT IS SOMETHING TO BE AWARE OF.

Where are you going to get your helichrysum from? I've heard such amazing things about it but doesn't seem popular at the grocery store and health food store.

I just bought some last week at a health food store where I used to work. I spent way more than I meant to this time— helichrysum and geranium were both pretty expensive, but citronella and cedarwood were cheap. (BTW, if I’m remembering right, thanks for the tip on citronella/cramping. Def trying that. Catnip tea works too, but it makes me kinda drowsy.)

Oh nice! I have not noticed any in the stores, but I will keep my eye out. In case I don't see any, does it smell like flowers?

Much empathy for your son. Does he live in the boonies too?
Here in the "suburbs" I heard a man outside yelling at someone on the phone for about 10 minutes.

I totally forgot about citronella being good for that. I haven't tried it for that purpose yet. I went to the store yesterday for that exact reason. I love that essential oil rollerballs are at CVS now in my area. I was kind of overwhelmed by the options. Multiple brands.
My go to is typically peppermint and lavender. I got a plain roller ball for just lavender. There was a blend called "Let Go" they had me at peppermint oil! but also included with lavender and basil. I don't know very much about basil. Never owned a bottle before. It gives the blend a more "earthy smell" I need a roller ball in my purse when I have to be in public the first 3-4 of cycle.

The helichrysum is very earthy/spicy/pungent, a little overwhelming on its own, so I’m still figuring out what to blend it with. Mixing oils might be my new favorite hobby— I’ve been building up a pretty decent collection for a while, but only just beginning to think about using them for specific things. I got my daughter one of those diffuser necklaces that has a little charm with a piece of lava rock inside that you can drip the oil onto, and she always puts peppermint oil in it when she’s studying for a test or something requiring deep concentration.
My new combo is 1:geranium:1 sweet orange: 2 citronella.
