Topic: Acupuncture

Have any of you ever tried acupunture? If so, was the results positive? After debating for the past year on whether or not to try this for my headaches (tension/migraine), tension between my neck/shoulder and last but not least a bunch of mixed up hormones, I decided to give it a shot. I've been once but had decided b/f my 1st appt. to stick w/this for at least two months to see the results. Thanks~~C IP: Logged |

I highly recommend it.Of course, a lot depends on the actual acupuncturist -- some are a lot better than others. But I would say, stick with it. I didn't notice any positive results until my 5th or 6th treatmant, so it takes time. But if you get it on a regular basis, say, once a week, I think it can be very beneficial. I had my first treatment ever this morning. My back feels a lot better. I still have another 4 sittings and some Tibetan herbs I'm supposed to take, but I can already feel a huge difference.   SunShyne IP: Logged |

Just a thought. Why is it called "Chinese", when the basic priciple of Chinese Medicine is not to be invasive and never break the skin?
Take great care in checking your practitioner's credentials. (A top doctor in Australia has never studied. A family member in China takes the exams in his name and sells him the diplomas).

Acupuncture tunes you in
to healing yourSelf..your
level of consciousness is
the level of healing you
shall get...I have 3 fractures in my
spine, after my first session
I was running and cartwheeling!
It was a miracle for me..
After a couple of sessions,
I was then able to do this
healing on my own, without
acupuncture... I highly recommend it! ------------------
