YUM-

This recipe is not for the faint of heart.

25 fresh habanero chiles
2 heads of garlic, cloves separated, unpeeled
1 1/4 cups fresh lime juice
2 teaspoons salt plus more
pineapple (my addition)- Just throw in pineapple (diced) at the end.

Just kidding!

I don't really make this- I BUY it ready made then add pineapple- I found the recipe though.

Be careful with these chillies- they are dangerous. But oh-so-addictive.

I might add a touch of crushed pineapple to my next batch. I like a bit of sweet, but not too much. Just a tad, here and there.

Will post my recipe when I perfect it. As bad as I know sweet corn is, it can be a great addition to salsa as well....

OMG, I can't even handle 1 habanero, let alone 10.

I like the Bulgarian version of salsa. It's called lutenitza. http://youtu.be/PJwjpr4_nmQ

The one I just made is tame in comparison. I'll have to watch the video later - bit worried about one of my dogs. I'm feeling guilty that I've been getting these veggies, some of them going off every week, but I don't remember the last time I made veggies for them (because someone else took over their food). I used to make them for them every week.

Teasel, whatever you do, don't feed your pups onions. It's toxic to canines. Worse than chocolate.

actually, no. most dogs can take some garlic. they are good for killing parasites in them too. onions & citrus fruits are a different story though.
