I did not know this but most of you probably did.
If you add a little white vinegar to the wash. When washing your towels and dish rags it kills the odors. Not just in kitchen towels but all towels, clothes ect...

You only need about 1/4 cup or just fill the softener dispenser.
My towels smelled do clean even bath towels smelled great.

Oh yeah, I use white vinegar when washing the sheers from my downstairs Windows. Brightens them and freshens them.

Kitchen towel idea is great.

You can also use white vinegar for other cleaning purposes like your hardwood floors.
A professional stager posted her cleaner that she uses to stage homes for sale.
I tried it and wow my floors were beautiful after. My floors were clean and had a shine to them.

Hardwood floor cleaner
2 cups water
1/3 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup rubbing alcohol
1 squirt Castile soap or dish soap ( one small squirt)
A few drops essential oil ( optional)
Pour into a spray bottle.

Sweep and vacuum hardwood
Then spray cleaner and wipe with a damp cloth.

I know this is a little off topic of foods but this worked great for me and it does have vinegar so I thought I would post if anyone is interested.

I make a vinegar cleaner with white vinegar and essential oils. I like tea tree, lavender and eucalyptus...it smells so good. I just add a few drops of each to a spray bottle with straight vinegar. I use it as an all purpose cleaner in my kitchen and bathroom.

I'm going to try the laundry trick too.

I agree, white vinegar is wonderful.

I add orange peels to it and use it as a cleaning solution. My s.o hates the vinegar-y smell. But he says that the orange scent makes it much more pleasant.

White vinegar is good for all that has been mentioned here, but I prefer apple cider vinegar for all the same reasons plus it's health benefits.

Vinegar and buttermilk used to change the cocoa red, but they added a base to the cocoa, so now we have to use food coloring. The more you know...
