It`s a Wonderful Life with Jimmy Stewart.

Everytime a bell rings, an angel gets his wings.

I guess virtually no one watches any version of Ebeneezer Scrooge's ghostly trials these days.

I love Clarence, too. I didn't fully watch that this year, and missed it the year before, but I always watch Clarence, when I can.

Lexx - I used to watch Patrick Stewart's Scrooge, when I was wrapping presents. I also love the oldest one, I have it on my DVR, since I didn't watch it at Christmas time. It's there, waiting for me.

Scrooged is another one.

I was surprised too.
There are even more offshoot variations not on that list because they are not standard Scrooge/Christmas Carol movies;
such as:
It`s a Wonderful Life
And other Christnmas stories that are loosely related in ways to the Scrooge/Christmas Carol movies.
Some such are listed here: http://www.nerve.com/entertainment/ranked/ranked-the-100-best-christmas-movies-of-al l-time
Their are more;
such as Hallmark movies.

Now that's a great movie

Was trying to remember the name of it not long ago, to tell the kids.

It always reminded me of the twilight zone, the way it started in that bar. (Sort of like Nighthawks.)

It really is good, makes you stop and think before you whine. There is really so much to be thankful for that we just take for granted.

Definitely!
Even though I live in poverty and I am very disabled physically; and always in pain often severe;
life is still worth living.

Oh I didn't mean it like that. I meant that the things we ask for might not turn out to be the best things in the long run. So if rough things occur it is better to assess the situation and see what the true meaning of it is. It is also a beneficial practice to take stock of your blessings and be thankful for what you have.

Oh I do understand! Just added my personal notes. I totally agree with you!

Indeed.
Especially when wracked with intense and too often terrible unremitting pain and extreme exhaustion.
