Chiron is a wild card like a Mobius strip. I have mined some of Chiron’s wealth, simply by doing charts and picking brains. Being a Gemini helps because we are endlessly inquisitive. However, I don’t think I have seen Moon/Chiron in synastry. Chiron, in synastry, usually takes the path of a close friendship and then a breaking apart. However, I wonder if there can be a revulsion in there, too. The strangest relationship I ever had was my Nessus conjunct her Chiron. This started as a close friendship, went to a hostile one, then went to a closer one, in the manner of best friends and then broke up, altogether and forever. I put forth this question for your opinion and so we all can learn together. I look forward to your Comments!

Hi Ami. I have this aspect with someone very special to me and I will try to explain how it feels as best as I can. I am the chiron person. Normal initimacy is a warm fuzzy feeling but moon/chiron intimacy is raw and deep. There are some things about yourself that you will never let another living soul glimpse, even your lover/spouse.... It is soooo private and revealing it will make you way too vulnerable. Then along comes moon/chiron conjunct ..... And SOMEHOW that vulnerable space opens. Worse still, you allow each other to probe that space HARD. Ouch- it hurts , you recoil in horror, or they do. But the very fact that you have been there, together, in THAT space ... forms a special "I Know You Like No-one Else Will Ever Know You" bond. And this intimacy/pain/recoil/rebound cycle is like a magnet that alternates attracting and repelling- (in my case it will not let go, although it may wax and wane). Whatever happens, we own some real estate in each others deepest being and that is forever. Its a painful kind of love, but it is cathartic too if you let it be... in fact it can be downright transformative as the things that are brought to the surface can be teachers of self-knowledge par excellence. Healing in the sense of accepting the wholeness of who yoy both are, warts and all.

Hope this makes sense?

I recently experienced a very interesting response to a classmate in this way. When I first saw him I was like: "He is it!"

This was not the case all the time, but when I was next to him, I was high, feeling weightless and limitless. I felt that he was very protective of me and that he was caring. I just felt a lot coming from this person and from myself. All this.....just sitting next to each other and chatting.

I found out his birthday recently, and immediately I saw Moon/Chiron conjunction. My moon is really important because it is a singleton (bucket formation) in Taurus (which is opposed by Saturn.) Also, even more sensitive b/c it is in the 12th house.

So, now I realize that a lot of what I probably felt was from his chiron connection....however, I also have my own natal chiron conjunct my moon as well.....which probably brought all those chiron seems even more to the forefront.

While no one aspects make a connection, I think it must have been this one, and his moon conjunct my asc in Gemini....

But overall, this was a very painful lesson for me, since I could never express what I felt and there was some contention there as well due to that energy.

Yes and no. My mom was born with a mental and physical disability, so I had a lot of responsibility growing up. I was the adult in many ways and I grew up fast. However, it taught me how to be compassionate with people (I worked with children with special needs for a while) and gave me the drive to succeed (she supported me in everything I chose to do and gave me a great sense of self-esteem)

It has been painful through, but my mom wanted a child and she wanted to live her life on her terms. I went through a lot, but in the end, got to live her dreams so I understand why she made her choices, and I'm glad she did.

It took me a long time to come to terms with that one though.....I think it's the just turning 30 part that has helped me to understand things better..she was in her mid 30 when she became pregnant with me.

Yes, I am SO THANKFUL for that aspect LOL.

Because my poor Moon is facing Saturn from the 12th house! Needs some healing and reassurance for sure!

Yes, how close is that Moon?Saturn opposition? Also, here is how I describe Saturn in the 12th and tell me if you agree. It is like a child who sees a group of kids and wants to join in so badly but holds back due to fear of rejection or humiliation

I should have been more clear...my 12th house Taurus moon is squaring Saturn in the 5th (Scorpio).

This aspect is @ 5°43

Ami, as far as relationships go, I know you mention that you think Chiron brings pain, but would you say for Saturn to be aspecting or even conjunct chiron in a relationship would mean a "hard lesson" in pain? Or a necessary experience in that sign chiron is in?

What do you make of those who mention Venus/Chiron as "true love"? Do you feel in this case, it would be not realized or unrequited in some way? I see that you talked about your personal experiences with your friend in the chiron thread, but do you feel this is true for all relationships, or just friendships?

Just speculating....

You have to look at a whole chart to see true love. Moon to Moon is heart to heart. The Child asteroid is a Mini Moon and is one's inner child.

People fall in love Child to Child.

If there is a real basis for soul, Chiron could fit in there.

However, as I say this, I had a platonic friendship with Moon trine Moon and Mars conj Chiron and it fell the way of Chiron relationships, as I have explained them.

Hence, I am not sure.

Saturn cools what it touches. It can make for one person( the Saturn person) being very critical of the planet person. It can feel like a stern parent.

I see this as an unstable relationship, especially if it is close.

It may follow the route of what I call a Chiron relationship.

The orb is very important with this, or anything, really.

They get REALLY close, really fast, as if you found your best friend and/or soul mate. Then, they break apart over seemingly a small misunderstanding and never seem to be able to get back.

i have my chiron trine my bf's moon and our relationship has so far been extremely healing in the way that he's been able to accept every single mental, physical and emotional skeleton that i have.

even the ones that are hidden being the closet's false back and concrete wall behind that -that you need a jackhammer, crowbar and the goonies soundtrack to get into.

just everything i threw at him he took it, spun it around and showed me that it's okay, made all the spiders go away and just fixed everything.

so this relationship has defiantly been transformative and really really healing for me.

hell if we breakup i might come out of it more put together than i went in. :P

and idea about what moon sesquiquadrate chiron means ?
or moon semi square chiron??

thanks!

Taine, I'm the Chiron person too, and you've described it to a T. I do think the desire to heal the moon person is strong - don't know how the moon person feels..
