The more I do charts, the more profound and powerful a planet Chiron shows itself to be. I think Chiron is the ruler of Virgo. I think Mercury is the sole Ruler of Gemini. However, that is not the point of this article. I want to give a brief run down of Chiron in the Houses, so you can find yours. Tell me what you think, too, as always!

Chiron in the Houses

First–– Having something painful that shows on your person like a scar or deformity. This will tend to draw bullying from weak people( and we know there are enough of them) Chiron conjunct the ASC always seems to be bullying.

Second–—Money Problems. Material security is the greatest wound

Third–Problems with Communication. This could be a Learning Disability like ADD, extreme shyness or stuttering etc

Fourth–Pain with the Mother. The early childhood home was very painful.

Five—Play is very Hard. Being Creative is very hard. The Person can’t let go and have Fun.

Six-–Health Issues or Feeling One has Nothing to Give Others in Service.

Seven–Pain in Marriage. Pain in committed Relationships

Eight–Feeling one has to be better than human. Feeling one cannot face one’s taboo emotions and sexuality.

Nine--Pain Upon Trying To Find God. This may be Pain in Higher Education and Travel. I have seen it in people who were not able to get a higher education but really wanted one. I have seen it in people who moved to a foreign country and had a very hard time with it.

Ten-–Pain in Career( for men) The person feels he has not made it in society. For men and woman, it is a feeling that one does not fit in.

Eleven–Pain with Groups. One May have been Made Fun of in Groups. This pain lasts into later life.

Twelve–Hidden Pain. These people may get upset when YOU show your pain because theirs may be buried deeply so deeply that they have a very hard time accessing it. When people bury things, they get angry when other people exhibit them

Thank you, Queen. That makes a lot of sense. I think Chiron in the 5th is one of the harder ones.

I have it in the 4th. Last time I went home for the holidays was a few years ago. My mom made me cry again. I don't go home anymore.

Chiron in Cancer in the Tenth House. I can Identify with your description.
I have a hard time fitting in anywhere and don't feel very comfortable being in public.

I find it very hard to live in today's society because people focus so much on accomplishments and want you to be open about everything. This can be extremely hard for a shy person such as myself.

Welcome Reverie!

Are you a male or a female. This placement seems harder for men

It is lovely to have newcomers. They are the most special people to me!

With this Chiron, did you have a hard time with your father and this made it hard for you to feel the confidence to do well in society?

As a child I always felt more closer to my mother than my father. Most of the things I learned to do for myself were taught to me from my mom. She tried to push outside my comfort zone once in awhile to help me grow as a person, but it usually back fired because of my low self-esteem and shyness.

My dad has always been a positive person. He's loud, cheery and likes to tell jokes and make people laugh. A lot of people like him.

When he goes to work or has a job to do it seems almost like he becomes a different person. He changes to a workaholic and when he comes home, he turns back into a relaxed easy going guy.

I don't blame either of my parents for my low confidence in life. I feel this is one of the lessons I have to learn for myself and grow from.

Well, your Chiron will be pain with the greater society and/or career.

Hmm, should i worry because of my 8th House Libra Chiron standing right on the cusp of the 9th? (less than 50 seconds away) ) I guess I'm kind fo forced to work with it as far as my future is involved, because NN is also in the 9th House, conjuncting Spica along with Pallas though (4 seconds distance).

But why is Chiron solely seen as the-bringer-of-no-good? Even the Rahu-Ketu axis, the ultimate malefics of the Vedic branch have some really good effects when nicely placed... ah, ignore me, i just insist on believing there is a plus side to everything

Welcome Scarlett dear

Chiron brings healing but it is out of the pain imo and the original pain may never totally heal.

An 8th House Chiron seems to be someone who is afraid of his primal passions and feels he must be "better than they are".Do you feel that?

I have Chiron in the 8th in Virgo, conjunct my Sun. I can definitely relate to "Feeling one has to be better than human". I often have fantasies about being an omnipotent controller of the universe. Sometimes I feel like I'd rather not have emotions, or at least would like to have control over them, like a light switch or something to turn them on or off.

Yes to all. Lots of childhood pain, mother abandonment, extreme emotional pain in committed relationships.

My Chiron is also in the 7th in Aries with Venus,Lilith, Fortune. I don't want to be doomed but this is also my South Node. Hopefully, I will be able to escape my karma

Was your dad a real source of pain?
