I was trying to find some information. I was just curious how you would define a conjunction when the two planets are in different signs.

What I was looking at is (Moon 27° Sagittarius and Neptune 00° Capricorn) Does it still count as a Conjunction? What are your thoughts and how do you analyze it?

for conjunctions i keep it within 5 degrees and degrees go up to 29 i believe...as long as its still within 5 degrees its a conjunction...in fact my sun and mercury are in different signs and they still conjunct and because they are in different signs my mercury ended up being a singleton

If it's listed as a conjunction, look at the chart and see if the planets are in different signs. That would be an out of sign conjunction. Sagittarius 28 and Capricorn 1 is an out of sign conjunction.

Same with the other major aspects. Minor aspects are rarely out of sign since their orbs are small compared to major aspects.

Another example a square of 27 Aries to 1 Leo. The perfect square in that direction would be 27 Cancer, but 1 leo would still be in orb but just out of sign.
