Yes, my Venus is in Sag. A rather interesting Venus.. as it is listed above ..can be loyal while being independent. I notice that I meet guys really easily and they are super comfy with me right away. It is as if they can just know that I am easy to be around.I have over the years had many guys that I have dated remain friends after stopping dating them.It just isn't a big issue when we stop going out and often years later we still talk and update each other to who we are dating etc. I am also very capable of going through periods when I enjoy just dating for fun. I can date several and just have a good time. I KNOW none of them are the right one. When I find the right one then the loyalty and the inablility to date others comes on strong. I KNOW that I just want to be with him.And the independent feeling comes with choosing the guy that can be secure within himself. One that is able to go and have a good time with the guys. And one that will let me go away with my girlfriends and even encourage it. I do think that the Venus in Cancers (especially with lots of Leo)can be a go with us but we need to get one that knows that the love is there and is not clingy but is sharing and enjoying the ongoing love.Although, I am learning that my "foot in mouth" disease tends to come at the most inappropriate time.I tend to be so honest that out comes a comment that would be better left unsaid and you guessed it.. even at intimate moments. I think that I needed to mature a lot before I could really understand the whole way in which the Venus in Sag can up as real winners in love.Of course with a Scorp moon that makes my Sag Venus a whole lot more serious. It just takes longer to really trust whether this is THE person. As I have become older (a Sag..older??) I notice that I have been more interested in blending the spiritual with my love..or has the love come along with the Spirit..more likely the latter.Anyway, that is a little of my own 'take'on what a Sag Venus is about..

Hi Pink Angel
Good to see you here

Here's a link to the course schedule... http://www.linda-goodman.com/cgi-bin/ubb/forumdisplay.cgi?action=displayprivate&number=12&topic=000096

you'll see it also contains links to all the lessons we've covered so far. We're currently working on Venus, so you may want to join in there and then when you get a chance take a look at the past lessons. Post any questions or thoughts you have on the relevent string and we'll be happy to help you out.

Venus in Saggitarius loves (Venus) the open road (Saggitarius). Foreign (Saggitarius) places excite them. Their daily life consists of thoughts, things and memoirs from distant places (Saggitarius). A culture from long ago, a country traveled to, a song sung in a far off land . . . all are home to Venus in Saggitarius. A Venus in Saggitarius will decorate their home (Venus) with treasures beyond their local terrain. Art work, music records, furniture, paintings (Venus) . . . a life in constant journey, a mind focused on traveling from a stargazer's eye (Saggitarius).

Open places (Saggitarius) and a fan fare for the expansive excite them. Picnic lunches in the park (Venus), a swim in the ocean (Saggitarius), horseback riding through unmarked trails (Saggitarius), discussions about humanity (Saggitarius) and a marked penchant for expanding (Saggitarius) the pleasurable things in life (Venus) are the hallmark of Venus in Saggitarius.

Venus in Saggitarius are excellent storytellers (Saggitarius). Love (Venus) for them is one grand story (Saggitarius), open to change, a respect for freedom (Saggitarius), and an honesty and trust that is constantly tested over and over . . . as long distance anything is a typical signature for Venus in Saggitarius.

I have Venus 20 degrees Sagittarius. I think it makes me impulsive and giving, although somewhat licentious (although i don't really see that as a negative).

Is it portrayed as being negative?

I think it has negative connotations. Like presumptiousness, or making the rules as you go along, or perhaps having a moral 'looseness'. Possibly even amorality. It's not my opinion it's just what i thought the word meant. Or you could interpret it as fast, and therefore ok. I think it's a personal thing. Not everyone's going to like the Venus in Fire signs, and Venus in Fire Signs aren't going to like everyone either. Horses for courses i guess. The ultimate question is what is morally optimal, which is very situation-specific.
