It is widely believed that 7th house composite is better than 5th???

I guess it depends on whar your after?

The 7th house is the marriage house; a contract.
But.. the 5th house is the house of "true love" quoting Susan Miller "Planets and Possibilities"....
"It is wise to remember that marriage was a very different institution back when the ancients developed astrology thousands of years ago. The concept of marrying for love was not the main reason couples got together- most marriages were arranged. It would not be until the Middle Ages that love and marriage were considered seriously, as in works such as the King Arthur stories of Guinevere and Lancelot. Okay, Yes, I want a committed relationship... but I want to be swept off my feet too I am involved with someone new and old... kind of wandered in and out of my life for a couple decades now... but we are finally at a place where we can be together...I am almost scared of how powerful our feelings are for one another, But so at ease at my ability to be myself, express myself so easily...always been hard for me (Venus Virgo rx).
I would think the blending of 7th/ 5th house... lots of Libra/ Scorpio is a good thing... however, Neptune in the 7th is not always a good thing... Or, could I finally be feeling the higher Octave of Venus (Neptune).... as it seems so right?

Any comments would be appreciated.

where the 7th would signify a spouse.
