I thought these were the same thing - apparently not.

What's the difference between the two - is the true node the same as the moon's nodes?

The more I look at my chart in astro.com, the more it confuses me.

Thanks, folks.

luis,

The True Node and the Midheaven are both points, but both different points. Putting aside the astronomical details, the Nodes of the moon are about your life direction, with the South being the past and the North being the future. The Midheaven is about the outer world.

Simply,

Tim

hi there ^_^ personally, I see MC as the life direction of our "physical body", while NN as the life direction of our soul.. In other words, MC points out where we're heading/desire to head when it comes to our public life/career (just as Tim said, MC is about the outer world), while NN points out where our soul desires to go (the lessons of our lifetime).

Interesting.

What is a good site for interpretations on the MC; I know I can google and probably find a lot but from your experience is there a site that is a bit better than others?

I have MC 22 degrees on Virgo, I would like to know what it means.
Thank you

"There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll

Thanks Tim and Comica

Well, I have NN and MC both in Saggittarius, and I am relieved to report to you that both my body and soul are headed in the same direction....
