Does anyone else have this? I read that this causes misrepresentation of the self because the projection of self is different from what you really are. I've had problems with this, does anyone know what other aspects would mitigate this effect? IP: Logged |

Hi, I don't have this aspect but I have Moon square ASC and it's a bit similar.Basically the way others see you and the way you present yourself, are at odds with the way you really are/feel inside. I don't think it's that big of a deal because everyone wears a mask in society anyway. But it can be unsettling for you and people close to you because you can have different reactions/behaviours depending on the situation. So it can make you moody or unpredictable. At times you may be all fun and sweetness, even if deep inside you're feeling down, and yet you may find it hard to express your deepest, "true" self, because you're so naturally inclined to behave in a different "paradoxical" way. Nothing can mitigate this aspect, except for inner work and self-awareness. The more you'll learn about yourself and why you behave a certain way, the easier it will be to change yourself.

Yep. For example, one of my wants (Sun in Scorpio) is deep, close, intense relationships; however, the impression I usually give other people (Capricorn Ascendant) is of professionalism and detachment.

Like Doux Reve said, nothing will mitigate it or completely cancel it out. But the stress might be reduced by positive aspects from your Sun or Ascendant to other signs in your chart. For example, Moon conjunct or trine Ascendant might make it easy for you to express your needs, even though you may have difficulty expressing your wants. ------------------

i have a TIGHT sun/ac square. by one minute. and my moon is conjunct my DC by 20. my pluto is three degrees away from my AC but if we forget pluto real quick bc he's a little further i have an exact tsquare with my AC, sun, and moon. AC scorpio 12.31
SUN leo 12.32
MOON taurus 12.11 i really don't mind it. basically i come off colder and more mysterious/intense so it's more endearing and a little surprise for people who get to know me that i'm a lot warmer and sillier. i actually kind of like how it plays out IP: Logged |
