Topic: Where do you start when analyzing a chart?

I want to analyze my friend's chart for her birthday but I'm overwhelmed. I thought it would be easy but that was because I was SO familiar with my own chart and I could verify what was true and what wasn't, and spot patterns easily. In this chart I'm having difficulties so I need tips!IP: Logged |

Any Unaspected planets?
Which Elements are strong? Weak?
What is the ASC, Sun, Moon, Mars, Venus, by sign and house
That would be a very good start!

I already know her signs and planets. I started looking at where they were located and two planets stood out to me but I didn't know where to go with that. In particular it was her Pisces moon in the 10th house which I found ironic because her recently ex-boyfriend was a Pisces sun with Capricorn moon.IP: Logged |

I guess just that I found a coincidence but I was stuck. I know the signs of her chart but I can't find any patterns with her aspects like I could mine, so I have no trail or thread to understanding the rest of her chart. Does that make sense?IP: Logged |

YES I just had that and had not run up against it before. It was a synastry, but I could not get a take on it i.e feel it out. I went away and forced myself to get really, really honest. My block was that I did not want to give this woman the truth. I, always, always give the truth. That is my commitment to anyone who calls on me. It is hard though and I am a Libra ASC as you are

Oh I'm a Gemini ASC! It wouldn't be hard for me to give her the truth... I'm a triple Aries afterall Lol! I was just wondering if starting with houses helped first, or starting by looking at the ASC/DSC (and/or IC/MC) and then looking where those planets lie. I guess it doesn't matter where you start though, just gotta start somewhere.IP: Logged |
