I have a very difficult time with relationships because I tend to go all-in, make up a fairy tale ending, fantasize, and unconditionally love potential partners before I have gotten to know them.However I am very intuitive, so I feel like I DO know them. I can sense their desire to be loved, and I am overly ready to give that love. Does anyone have trouble setting boundaries with this placement, and how to adapt to it?? I love the fact that I am a romantic, but I am tired of getting hurt. Is there a happy medium?

its hard but you have to set limits with yourself. i have venus in pisces and i tend to have the need to immediately rush into relationships and just dive right in, or just drown them with a tidal wave of affection but you just have to realize that you cant always commit 110% so quickly. find out if the other person involved is as committed as you are. ------------------

I also have Venus in Pisces... I tend to get hurt in relationships that includes every relation possible! I love and respect people a lot when they don't even love and respect me that much... I love my close friends unconditionally but they don't! I have always been hurt! That's why I m scared to open up my heart and emotions(Capricorn sun at work, maybe)... nice to meet ya!  IP: Logged |

And yes it is true...we love unconditionally even before we know them, these days I m dealing with it! And we are intuitive and we can sense people's real feelings... their desires,hurt and love!

It burdens me sometimes to know the love-needs of others. I try to provide it, but go about it the wrong way, or underestimate the willingness of my partner.Lately I've been making the first move in all my would be relationships, I can't tell if its out of desperation or not... ------------------

@sugarflapjacks,Can you explain what "exaltation" means in terms of Venus in Pisces? I don't quite get it! I've been doing a lot better as of late, just by keeping my watery emotions in check. Not every decision has to be made based on feeling and emotion! In fact, I'm learning that MOST decisions should take feelings into consideration, but not depend on them. Also, gonna be less desperate for love in the romantic sense and nurture it in friendship realms.
