I have 4 of my inner planets and a couple asteroids and I think it's SN all loading up my 12 th house.
The research I've done has mentioned mental illness, severe introvert, child abuse and even karma from my past lives...... I need help, please.
That's all heavy stuff the scariest is the mental illness... I can attest to the child abuse, I'm gonna try to be as open as possible for anyone who has insight on this 12th house mess of mine
I apologize if this is in the wrong forum... Have to start somewhere though.
The planets are SUN,MOON,MERCURY,JUPITER, and asteroids are PALLAS and VESTA. If you'd like to look at the whole chart just let me know.

Being a person with 5 planets (Sun, moon, mercury, saturn and venus) and one asteroid(pallas) in the 12th house, having a heavy 12th house doesn't mean you'll be mentally ill.the 12th house means so many different things. Some people are just really fatalistic. I personally have never done drugs(i only need music and alone time and tumblr), which is part of the escapism aspect of the 12th, we don't want to live in this world, we want the next one, atleast me, I dream about being in alien civilizations and in advanced cyberpunk cities(aquarius 12th house lol). I've had great parents(not absent at all) and a great chilhood. Afcorse I had my fair share of troubles though I attribute them to Saturn conjunct my Mercury and Venus, because my main issues in life so far have been mercury(talking) and venus(socializing) related. Also I feel like with the 12th house there's this very strong sense of inner security, atleast for me, I rarely ever get stressed out, I think I am just very "zen", or "head in the clouds", I have such a rich inner world that I can spend days by myself and not even notice them pass by, . I mean Neptune and the 12th can be beautiful, being at one with collective and the universe(merging with others withouth limits), infinite love and beauty, infinite dreams, the healer who loves unconditionally, self-transcendence,etc. Anything can be good or bad, you just have to make itso, that's why it's useful to learn astrology in the first place.

I'm glad to see this topic. I have Pluto, moon, merc, and SN in the 12th. I have dealt with or am dealing with- so many of the negative traits of this house. It scares me too! I liked hearing that "we don't like living in this world." Sooooo very true!!! I've also read here somewhere that we can be sinners or saints. Definitely a sinner here! I don't even like discussing it! Haha wow i am so 12th house! It makes me crazy------------------

i have 4 personal planets in the 12th house and i can relate.
it does not mean mental illness..
it means a different thing to everyone else.for me- it means that i live far away from my place of birth..
it also means that i like alone time, well more need alone time for personal sanity.
it means that I'm a little unknown to my self, and my surroundings, and that i am private.
also means I'm highly intuitive- 12th house child with trines to Neptune....
it means different things...
