i really don't know how rectifications work but I just found out it can help figure out birth times.

I've lost touch with someone on and off and I did a synastry of us both, but I know without the birth time of one person the synastry won't be accurate and I really want to know why he affects me so much.

I'm really new at rectifying so anyone who knows how to rectify please give me tips!

I've never rectified a chart myself. Basically with chart rectification, the person needs to remember very important/significant events in their lives such as marriage/divorce, birth/death of family/friends, change of residence, etc as accurately as possible such as the day and possibly the time it took place as well. This can be done using chart progressions and solar arcs.
