A geologist is an Earth scientist who meticulously studies the solid Earth and the rocks of which said Earth is composed, and how it changes over time. In recent times I've become interested in geology and was wondering what in a natal chart shows an interest or career in it.I have an Earth Grand Trine and am Earth and Capricorn dominant and was born on Earth Day. My sun and moon (ruler of my Ascendant) are both in Earth signs as well. My 10th house is in watery Pisces but it's rulers Neptune & Jupiter are both in Earth signs. IP: Logged |

Yes, your abundance of natal earth is something to be noted. Your Midheaven ruler in Capricorn, another indicator. If you have your Sun/Mercury/Mars/2nd house ruler in the 4th house or Capricorn, I'd add it to the list. Same with Moon-Mercury and Mercury-Saturn. Even your Cancer Ascendant catched my attention. The Moon is strongly tunned into the past and Saturn could teach us about the concepts of time and age. The things geologists appear to be preoccupied with: quote: Geology...also provides tools to determine the relative and absolute ages of rocks found in a given location, and also to describe the histories of those rocks.[citation needed] By combining these tools, geologists are able to chronicle the geological history of the Earth as a whole, and also to demonstrate the age of the Earth. Geology provides the primary evidence for plate tectonics, the evolutionary history of life, and the Earth's past climates.
I'm wondering if you have Moon-Mercury or Mercury-Saturn too.. This is all I can come up with without seeing your chart. ------------------ Astrology is descriptive, not causative. Come visit me in my Vault: tarot & astrological readings IP: Logged |
