Is the interpretation of a first meeting chart similar to that of a composite/synastry chart?IP: Logged |

I would like to know what would count as the first meeting? the moment the two shake hands or the moment they are aware of each others presence? IP: Logged |

That is debatable. I don't think there is a clear answer to that. I have the exact time and day of our first date but we "met" online. Would it be the first time he messaged me or the first in person meeting?IP: Logged |

The most interesting part is to compare to your natals. Then cast a composite FM + each person.------------------

The very first MUTUAL thing I'd say. First exchange of messages, first being aware of one's presence etc. ------------------

I don't think we're quite following. An event chart is not the same as a composite chart. The FMC is, essentially, an event chart. Also, if you have a Love Chart, I attest that those are VERY significant. They colour and shape the FMC. As well as the chart of a significant commitment; when the relationship goes from the 5H to the 7H level. Which I've recently had happen, actually. IP: Logged |

Not to hijack thread but posting them to discuss should be fun. This chart is from the moment we literally shook hands and formally met. I don't remember the moment I became aware of his presence, so it would be impossible for me to look at that chart. IP: Logged |

Like Aubyanne said, FMC describes the moment of meeting, an event chart. From the chart above, there was an instant attraction (Moon/Venus sq Uranus), quick meeting but I doubt it went anywhere. Saturn conj. in 5th.

A Love Chart is the polite term for the beginning of a sexual relationship. Some say that it overrides the FMC, but there's more consensus that it 'enhances' it -- adding a bit more description and depth, showing another dimension of the relationship. IP: Logged |

Oh! Oh? Hm. I can do that. Honestly it's pretty ******* weird how apt astrology is. It's really on the nose. It's goosebump-inducing. IP: Logged |

Aubyanne, At which point....? Is it the moment you kiss your partner of the night or.... I can't believe you astrolgers are looking at the clock of the precise moment. But then again...you never know... LOLIP: Logged |

Oh my... I feel that a Love chart is significant if the time you did whatever lovely thing you did is very different from the first meeting (few days, weeks, months, years.... apart). If you ended up spending the night together on your first meeting then the planets have not moved far anyway... So I would focus on Asc/Dsc axis, and perhaps the transit Moon...? Modern dating... everything happens very quick you know!! IP: Logged |

Just wondering, what is the point of a first meeting chart? Based on the day you meet, it shows where your relationship will go? IP: Logged |
