I have a new friend. What's the prognosis?

Thank you!

Question - Is his NN hovering over my IC significant?

I always think that Asc to personal planet connections between friends is important. And that makes expression very easy.

I have Mercury/Conjunct my very good friend's Asc in Cap.

I also have Mars/conjunct another friend's Asc in Libra.

The Asc is your point of expression and you won't find yourself close to someone who does not allow you to be yourself.

The Asc/Sun and Asc/Moon is also recommended.

I see that you guys have the Asc/Sun uncomfortable square(some basic misunderstandings).

But you also have Mercury trine Asc and this can be very helpful when stand-offs happen.

Yes, but then my Asc squares his Mercury so I wonder does this void it out? *lol*

There is a lot of red lines in the chart image so I am going to tread carefully.

Mercury trine Sun DW, hello? That's cool. There's nothing better for me than understanding each other.

What might feel uncomfortable could be the aspects that involve Uranus and Neptune. Just looking at the table I've seen the squares.

My 2cents: If you two become close friends in the future. Don't EVER lie to each other. Absolute honesty. Neptune won't be kind if you don't.

The oppositions might actually add Dynamics and duration. I think they're ok.

If the times of birth are both accurate, you have sun in each other's 9th house DW. That's also a good combo on top of the Mercury-Sun trine DW. You can produce something interesting in the realm of ideas or even professionally if you're colleagues

Birth times are accurate. I guessed his Ascendant based on his looks, so we had to look it up on astro.com & verify... he was mind blown LOL.

We are not directly colleagues, but we are in a position where we could end up volunteering on some of the same projects in the community.

If you toss in a few asteroids, we also have -

my Aphrodite conjunct his Mars (exact or near exact, very tight)
my Amor conjunct his Venus (exact or near exact, very tight)
my Moon conjunct his Cupido
his Eros trine my Moon
my Anteros conjunct his Adonis

I added these because there is a feeling of familiarity (as in, did I love you once before?) but not lust or sexual attraction.

I don't really know how to interpret these things though.
