For example. If a womans venus is in the 8th house she display some Venus in Scorpio traits, right? However lets say her Venus is in Gemini. And the man has Mars in Scorpio. Doesnt matter the house. Would there be an attraction even if there were absolutely no synastry aspects? IP: Logged |

I've read multiple sources that say yes; the House a planet activates in one chart matches the energy of the corresponding sign in another's and is a significant connection in synastry. I think I read somewhere certain matching energies of this nature can indicate soulmate relationships - such as an Aquarius sun male and a 11H moon female would be significant...curiously I cannot find that source right now You might find this earlier thread more helpful/interesting: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum35/HTML/001550.html Quoting LeeLoo "When we meet someone who represents the sign energy of our houses, especially if mutual, a strong bond is formed. That someone will show us in a practical form how to become ourselves, by radiating their sign energy. We need that energy as an inspiration, a model, a vehicle for our becoming." IP: Logged |

Thank you so much for the link! Probably explains why i get along with Scorpio moons so well, with my Sun in the 8th house.

Np! I think that discussion pretty much covers everything I've read and then some. I'm so grumpy I can't find the other "soulmate" link. I'm positive I did not make that up, lol. I'm the same way - My Moon is in the 10H and I seem to feel especially emotionally secure/comfortable with Capricorn Suns I also fall into the feminine archetype a lot easier with them. I can't stand my friend's bf - he's a huge jerk but he is a cappy sun and even around him I find myself comfortably defaulting to my more feminine side. My old cappy coworker (female) used to call me her work wife I'm sure there are other things going on in the synastry with those people, but it's a really interesting additional dynamic to watch out for. Once I started looking for it, I noticed a lot of mutual sign/house patterns like this in my friends/family relationships especially. IP: Logged |
