Topic: Unexplained Mars in Scorpio Attraction

Ok, so I am a Sagittarius and I just met this Sagittarius guy with Mars in Scorpio. He is not my type but for some reason I find myself wanting his attention and I don't know why. It is driving me nuts. I'm Mars in Gemini and when we talk I don't even feel he can keep up with my intelligence. Normally I would just stop communication yet I find that I actually anticipate his calls and I get these weird aroused feelings. WHY DEAR GOD WHYYY???? Over a year ago I actually knew another Sagittarius guy with Mars in Scorpio and it was the same scenario. Not my type yet I always had this extreme anticipation and an anxious desire I could not explain. I'm very confused. It's almost like I want to talk to them or hear from them just for the sake of it with no rationale at all. What could be causing this?IP: Logged |

His Mars is in my 1st house and his Venus is trine my Mars. His Venus is also in my 3rd house. The thing is I've had a similar experience with another Sag with his Mars in Scorpio but the only thing they have in common is their Jupiters in my 8th house and Pluto in my 12th house.IP: Logged |

hmmmmm, where is HIS moon and lilith? You didn't tell me your lilith, and his Mars on your ASC can be a main factor. Theres are also many other things that can be into play such as Eros and Vertex. You should also check the composite IP: Logged |

Hey NYCDodger sorry about that. My Lilith is in Sag (1st house) and his Lilith is in Scorpio. Not sure of his birth time so his moon could be in Leo (but could be in Virgo). I will check out the eros thing. I think Scorpio is playing a big theme here but the fact that each guy with this mars had a sag sun seems important. He called today but I set his name to "do not pick up". I dont like the obsessive feeling I've developed for a guy I know is not really into me and (as far as rationale is concerned) is not much my type either. I did not pick up but my weirdo attraction is not gone I'm just fighting it. If I pick up I may say something outlandish.IP: Logged |

Also, I have this odd recurring thought of telling him I love him, which I absolutely DO NOT (I barely know him). When he first called we talked for a bit then ended up texting later and no text could come fast enough. I kept anxiously checking my phone and found myself sending him texts back to back before he replied to the last set. Keep in mind I NEVER act that way (except with the other Sag with MIS). Felt a little desperate and embarrassed. That kind of control over me simply will not be allowed, so I definitely won't talk to him again and will ignore him totally. However, I still need to know what causes this when it comes to Sag men with Mars in Scorpio. Also, both guys were born in the same year too (days apart) so it could be more than the mars. Gemini30 that makes perfect sense. It is sort of like another version of Mars conj Moon but with his Mars touching the house of my moon. For some unknown reason I did not think about it that way. Well I suppose the MIS attraction mystery is solved lol. However, I thought this usually made the Mars person desire the moon person? Also, would his Mars not also be fond of my ASC? So why am I the one feeling such a strong draw to him? If he feels a similar attraction I can't tell, seems to be normal about everything. IP: Logged |

HadesFish I was once in love with another Scorpio Rising like myself, we both had Pluto Conjuct Asc. It was the most dramatic, challenging, and life altering situation of my life. I felt like my love for him was literally able to kill me spiritually and resurrect me again effortlessly many times over. 1 of 2 guys I've ever dated. But these MIS types make me obsessive without ever dating them or knowing them much at all. I'm sure that is the PRIMAL activation you speak of! quote:

Oh no! Lol dont say that even the very idea of that scares me. I dont know if it is my Scorpio Rising or Gemini moon but someone having such control over my emotions is terrifying. If I feel this way about a guy I would otherwise not be attracted to I dont want to imagine what this might do in other circumstances. Yep its a done deal, I will never answer another call or text from that MIS having culprit. If I act like this now a relationship with him would just be dangerous.

Interesting. I guess VIS would make him suffer similar uncontrollable attraction issues but with my Venus in Sag it would probably remain a one-sided thing.I mean obviously he is not totally unattracted since he pursued me and was the initiator of all calls. Your Moon would suffer with VIS, if suffering is what you want ( not in a bad way ) . His MIS strictly speaking to what MIS is called upon ; your Moon placements and Venus in Sag would not, although! Venus in Sag likes conquests also.
MIS never suffers, for others. Neither does the moon.

My mother is Moon in Scorpio and she will suffer greatly for those close to her. Are you thinking that Second MIS is like first?
Any MIS will go for it. The rest is up to your Moon / what he thinks of your Venus. In a woman's it's either emotion or instinct when it comes to MIS. Lol. It's him that's hard to keep.

I never expected this MIS to be anything like the other one to be honest. My thoughts are more so on why I react the way I do to them (regardless of how they are individually). However, thanks to this thread I pretty much get what is taking place now. In other news, I accidentally called him today and tried to hang up. When I thought I hung up I started going on about how I hadn't intended to call him and "darn this stupid phone" then I realized he was still on the whole time! So I eventually called him back to explain it was an accident and he didn't seem upset or anything. But I can't help but feel he is considering the fact that I hadn't returned his last call and when I finally do call it was not intentional. This is not going over well with me at all.

What you loooked at the progressions.Could be the relationship with the 1st MIS is being replayed here. How many days apart are they? How long ago did things end with the 1st Sag. Where is their pMars in relation to your nVenus? IP: Logged |

They are 16 days apart, and now that I think about it, that is a pretty big gap. Association ended with the first MIS in April of last year. His mars was semisextile my venus. The new MIS does not have his mars aspected to my venus. My mars in Gem is sextile his Venus in Aqua though. This is why this MIS attraction is puzzling because neither person's Mars had much to do with my venus. So why is MIS the common theme? Although, I will note that even though not much Mars/Venus action is going on, each of their MIS did make a lot of contact with my Asc. in scorpio and my pluto in scorpio. Also my moon is in the 8th house as Gemini30 pointed out. I seriously think the Sag sun in these guys combined with the MIS is what may be causing it, as my sun and my venus conjuncts both their suns in addition to their mars touching my asc/pluto.IP: Logged |
