What should be the limit?

Btw, in case it's not clear, I mean Moon opposite Moon.

It differs. Some use only 3 max in synastry but for luminaries a little more. Others say max 5 or some others say even more. The tighter the better.
Personally I use about max 5 but have seen it work with a wider orb, for luminaries for sure. Husbands Sun/Saturn conjunction to my Sun is definitely felt; 6 degrees. I hate it! Haha ...

I totally agree Sylven. I've seen luminaries (and other personal planets) up to 8-9 degrees in aspect but they still pack a punch.

The extreme tight orbs gives you the bare bones of the relationship. It's like the primary purpose of their being together.

The wider orbs can show the lighter dynamics that are at play within the relationship. I just find the wider orbs aren't so "in your face" about it. :-)

Well I have a moon opp moon with Cusp. But it's by sign (a 12 degree orb gemini/Aquarius.) I definitely felt it. The moon rules my 1st, his 9th.

These signs aren't opposite

So...how do you think your semi-opposition manifests itself?

I felt a 6 degrees (sun-moon) once. But i would say 3-4! Moon opposite moon is a difficult aspect? How do you feel that?
