Is this a matter of likes attracting, or of opposites attracting? Put another way, do Cancer Mars people themselves tend to be chubby or the opposite of chubby (lean)?

Okay, what about the other 11 Mars signs? How do you characterize their body types, and
what do they prefer for a body on their partner?

It would be informative also to know the Sun signs of individuals whose Mars and body types with whom you are acquainted.

Not to say that I often end up dating my type (personality does come first after all) but that is my preference.

I'm Venus in Capricorn, Mars in Taurus. (Uranus conjunct ASC, exactly square Venus, Mars square my Sun-Jupiter)

Wax, if I substitute my 6'-1" for your 5'-7" and switch genders, you have written precisely what I would describe as myself and my preferences in a woman's build.

Being the male, I have no problem with women who are a few inches shorter than me, though not so short that standup-smooching becomes a challenge. Over-weight and flabby are the major turnoffs.

Oddly, our planets do not show any common placements. My Mars sits in Aires conjunct Asc, trine Venus in Sag. Sun Libra.

I hope you don't have as much difficulty finding desirably sized and shaped partners from the opposite sex as I do.

Maybe it's that my Mars-Jupiter square brings the athleticism to the table. Also I have Mars in the 7th, ruling the 6th and 7th, so there is that requirement for the sporty side of things I suppose ;-)

I have no problem finding men that size and height, it's finding the emotional depth and true intelligence that's more rare!! Haha!

He is buff as, worked as a male model and stripper while at Uni when younger and always kept up appearances.

He ended up marrying a woman who looked just like me, but slim!

I run 4-5 times a week and I work out with weighs 3 times a week. And I don't eat gluten ( , virgo)

I prefer men who is a bit tall (1,80cm) but not too tall. And lean (not skinny) and fit.
Overly buff I don't find attractive. Abs! I looove abs!

For me a man that does not work out and does not have a healthy life style is a huge turn off.

I take care of my body as an investment for a healthy body and life and a body that hopefully won't fall apart that easily with age. So that kind of mindset is what I wan't in a man too. Also a person who works out is a sign that person has huge disciplin and will power. As Plutonian and Mars-saturnian thats also a turn on for me.

I have a friend I have feelings for and he works out and has been for years. But he is not an arrogant show off and in your face about it. I still hope he will ask me join his gym as a work out buddy, lol!

He has Mars in capricorn conj Neptune. And I have Mars oppo Saturn. I think this type of combos/aspects gives one huge resillience and discipline. The need to wanna master ones body, type of thing

At the gym where I exercise, you find women in their 60's, 70's and even one 86-year-old gal who are living proof that your philosophy works.

I'm curious to know if many people in Sweden think and practice as you do? Sadly, where I come from, very, very few people care enough about their body and health to lift anything heavier than a second helping of potatoes or chocolate cake.

Well, with Venus in Aires, I'm surprised you aren't taking the initiative with your friend at the other gym. Regardless of your age, it's easy to imagine that males often take note of you.

Mars in Sag, lol, yes, I prefer chubbier men.

I have an hourglass body, fit, and I like my body no matter what people say.

In a high school I hated my breast because it looked bigger than average of my friends and I couldn't do many sports as it blocked my movement. I used bigger clothes to hide my breast. But at the time I had some weight not like now. I like my body now as I can do a lot of sports without thinking too much about my breast and it makes less men stop looking at my nipples. I feel confident. lol.

I prefer outdoor sports than indoor (love running), so gym life is not for me unless it is yoga or boxing.

But venus in pisces gives me feminine nature look despite most of my masculine signs.

Yes, I like my man chubbier. Not into skinny men or too overweight. The boyfriends are all chubbier or average body type with some fat.

My exes have mars in Capricorn (fit body type) and mars in Taurus (chubbier, easier to gain weight).
