We live together but I interact with him as less as possible. My mother is like the middle man. I feel like he's always restrictive in regards to whatever I do.

I don't know his birth time but can you see the difficultly in our synastry? I'm the outside in this synastry.

For restriction I would look at Saturn...my guess would be his Saturn square your Mars (his parenting may be at odds with your drive/actions) and his Chiron conjunct your Saturn.

I have Mars opposite Saturn with my abusive father, as well as Mercury square Mercury and Mars opposite Mercury. Be glad you don't have those. I see your Mercuries are not really aspected, which could show the lack of communication between you two.

I'm sorry you have to experience having an abusive father. I have Mars square Saturn with him in Composite as well. I feel like he tries to control the things that I enjoy doing. Yes I notice that we don't have any Mercury aspects which is why we barely communicate.
