I've been reading about it a lot lately. I find it fascinating.

What's your Nakshatra and Pada? Can you relate to the descriptions on other websites?

Also, what's the "short description" about your Nakshatra + Pada? And what do you think about it? http://www.selfrealisation.net/UK/VedicAstrology/pada.htm

Mine is "Enjoys pleasures; longlived" Yeah, I hope so

My Atmakarka is Sun and it's in 26° Gemini

It's presiding Nakshatra is 'Punarvasu'

quote:
General Characteristics: Intellectual and spiritual wisdom, material prosperity, good natured, quiet, patient, devout, lives in comfort.

Translation: Good again

Symbol: Bow and a quiver of arrows.

Animal Symbol: Female cat – sensitivity and need for independence.

Ruling Planet: Jupiter.

Nature: Deva (god-like).

Presiding deity: Aditi tends the ground on which healthy seeds can bear fruit, earth Goddess.

Physical features: Handsome, long thighs and long face. Some identification mark on the face or on the backside of the head.

It's interesting because I do in fact have a mole on the backside side of my head a little below my hair line. And the personality description mentioned does make a general and intimate (physical description) comparison which fits the criteria in my case.

It's also in Pada 3 Gemini Navamsa - making my Sun a very important element in interpreting my chart

18° Pisces (tropical)
Pūrva Bhādrapadā

quote:
The moon in Pūrva Bhādrapadā indicates a person who is passionate and transformational, but a little extreme and indulgent. They are idealists and non-conformists and are good influencers of others and speakers and orators, but they can also be fearful, nervous, cynical and eccentric. Often their life can be full of sadness and problems.

Wikipedia

I relate to some of this.

I don't consider my life to be "full of sadness" and I don't have a nervous temperament.

From that site (thank you for the link):

quote:
Existing simultaneously in the zodiac of Pisces and Aquarius, Purva Bhadrapada happens to be the twenty fifth nakshatra constituting the stellar horizon. Deriving its planetary force from its ruling lord- Jupiter and divine force from Aja Ekapat its presiding deity; Purva Bhadrapada stands for mystery, supernaturalism and occult phenomena on one hand and that of honesty, principle and benevolence on the other.

Basic information about Purva Bhadrapada Birth Star

On the one hand, the nakshatra unleashes the general characteristics of mystery, flair for the occult perception, violence and cunningness, according to another line of thought; Purva Bhadrapada includes in itself the general characteristics of optimism, honesty, benevolence and charity. Despite the mutual contradiction in the two lines of thought; their inclination towards occult phenomena and practices along with a steak of spirituality are the common facets characterizing the general attributes of such natives. Despite the nakshatra's intrinsic inclination towards supernaturalism and occult practices; one comes across in it the general characteristics of sociability, helpfulness, pleasant mannerisms and benevolence. In fact, the twin aspects of creation and destruction; apart from mutually contradictory aspects of benevolence and violence are epitomized by Purva Bhadrapada Nakshatra.

This all fits.

I'm not explicitly violent or destructive, but under certain conditions I can see how I would resort to that. As if my own principles supercede society's, so if I feel I have good reason to take action, be a vigilante, push for my desired outcome, I might.

Though I think this applies more to men.

The short description for my Nakshatra + Pada is "Valorous."

Finally someone sees it...

purvabhadrapada is ruled by the deity ajaikapada- the one footed goat form of rudra

this can indicate an issue with one leg of such natives, can also indicate a limp in the walking motion or stress on one leg,

there are hundreds of resources out there talking about nakshatras, but not all are correct,

4 male issues can also mean 4 male children, as children are also referred to as issues in some books

honestly speaking i dont think this interpretation makes sense, its extremely generic and i doubt the source

My computer decided to update while I was finishing the post. lol

Yea I agree it sounds generic.

my nakshatra is pretty accurate...I would say the accuracy could be in the range of 90%-95%

But, I am definitely not possessive.. (I mean I definitely am monogamous lol) nor am I dictatorship like. I don't like having to always watch someone...seems like a waste of my time and energy.

I don't think I have anger issues...I get angry at times. But, I don't get aggressive with people....i'm just laid back.

But there is probably something in my chart that shows that aspect of myself.

But, I wouldn't say it's pretty dark accurate about one aspect of myself.

Ashwini 1st pada
Yes, very accurate, but being an entrepreneur I wouldnt say I "use other peoples wealth" in the way it sounds.
I buy and sell items of value so I do need people of "means" as customers..
So am I "using" them? No, Im giving them something in return

I am short, lively, youthful, and more on the athletic side.
I use to partake and excel very well in equestrian world, but sadly that had to come to an end due to outside forces.
