Vedic astrology is still a mistery for me. I know about western astrology, and I don't understand how can I be sagitarious and acording to vedic astrology be taurus which is such a diferent sign with diferent qualities.

Anyway I had in India some astrology readings and they were quite acurate!

Can someone recomend me a book for beginners?
And can someone tell me why in Vedic astrology all my influences are so diferent than in western astrology?

I have no libra and taurus influence, but acording to vedic astrology I am taurus with moon in Libra.

Looking forward to hear your recomendations and opinions.

i had this book with me since many years and it helped me condition my mind to understand vedic philosophy which is integrated in jyotish, i posted this book to a friend of mine in scotland few months back and luckily yesterday i found a link of this book online and downloaded it onto my laptop, copy paste the below link in your browser and download the book,

this is the best book written by a foreigner on jyotish, its explained beautifully, written by canadian hart de fouw and american robert svoboda who themselves have spent years in india studying various branches of vedic philosophy names ayurveda/jyotish etc from gurus

read this book over a period of time, reach one chapter at a time, come back to the same chapter again after a while, start reading charts with the jagannath hora software which u can download from the link given below and map the chapters to the charts you study
