Nakshatra translates to "the section of the sky", there are 27 of them, and they form the basis of Vedic astrology. Each one has a unique mythology and linked characteristics. All of them have been explained on the blog, I am now trying to explain them better through illustrations on YouTube. I’ve published 14 videos on the first 14 Nakshatras, which I’d like to share with you.

Each one of the following videos start off with the mythology linked to the Nakshatra and then describes how each planet behaves in it.

1. Ashwini ruled by Ashwini Kumaras, the divine healers
2. Bharani ruled by Lord Yama, the Lord of justice
3. Krittika ruled by Lord Agni, the God of fire
4. Rohini ruled by Brahma, the Creator of the creation
5. Mrigasira ruled by Lord Soma, the Lord of nourishment
6. Ardra ruled by Lord Rudra, the Lord of destruction
7. Punarvasu ruled by Goddess Aditi, the Mother of all gods
8. Pushya ruled by Lord Brihaspati, the Teacher of all gods
9. Ashlesha ruled by Lord Vasuki, the King of the serpents
10. Magha ruled by the Ancestors
11. Purva Phalguni ruled by Lord Bhaga, the Lord of good fortune
12. Uttara Phalguni ruled by Lord Aryaman, the Lord of contracts
13. Hasta ruled by Lord Savitar, the divine rays of Sun
14. Chitra ruled by Lord Tvastar, the celestial Architect

Please identify the planets in your birth chart in the above 14 Nakshatras and check the corresponding story. The Nakshatra-based analysis would amaze you.

I hope you find it useful.

I’m looking forward to watching your nakshatra videos. I study birthcharts and always look at the nakshatras. They are very illuminating. ✨🙏✨
