Easy to confuse because same-words have multiple meanings depending on the context. There's a difference between astronomy and astrology.

The subject is massive and takes a bit of time to soak in both topics, then untangle and understand the distinctions.

He's an important and well-recognized public celebrity figure who does great work and entertainment in science topics--- and happens to do youtube vids.

It's his creative job (like a journalist, a column and opinion-writer) to do educational videos.

Even if he thinks he adequately researched and studied enough material to feel confident that he had a mastery in understanding, clearly this is an oopsie (error), because he hasn't.

He needs a few beginner astrology lessons to clear his confusion-- that's all. .. No biggie. We ALL make mistakes. For some people, it's on a more public stage. (Makes mistakes harder to retract since reputation is involved. If he's creative-enough, and maybe uses humor, it would be easy for him to do a vid that explains the difference.)

If you really want to learn the Vedic, you have to get used to the language-- the extra-long words, terminology. Just get 'used' to how it sounds, without the need to fully understand. No stress. Let it start to dawn in pieces at a time.

Also, test out the various vid-teachers. Some you'll resonate with more than others.

I read it. There was a lot of talking and not enough to the point. I could be more determined but if there was a more direct approach I’d feel better. I guess the only way to find out is to take classes or something.
I almost got a professional chart reading done from an online astrologer but it was $175 for a 75 minute session and I don’t know if they’re a fake or not so I’m not gambling right now to find out and get scammed out of my money. Lol

But I would like it done. That eternal quest for self knowledge. And if I’m really good I could figure out others’ as well.

Am glad that my posts helped you in some way to better understand. It's a very small way that I can contribute to this forum since I do it only during my free time.

You could also try reading beginner books on Hindu Astrology. They will help enormously. Vedic is relatively a new term. You have to start from the beginning, although the internet is a helping tool, we just hop on the net and search for stuff that's eluding our comprehension but the best most useful way to learn Vedic is to read books. And of course, you may not find them to be on point,because you will tend to look at your own birth chart, I'd advised not to, try to decipher birth charts of famous personalities, it's part of the learning process, and it will help later on on your Vedic journey.
