The Sidereal round charts from Astrodienst,
are for "Sidereal Astrology."
The round charts can help with bridging to the use of square or diamond charts. I'd advise to have a copy of your Sidereal round chart IN your Vedic file folder or binder.
{Will help bring confidence that you're reading them correctly as you cross-check, and get used to square or diamond charts.}
I would recommend that you print the blanks, and make notes ON those blanks in pencil. It's all about 'practicing' using those charts to get used to 'where' the houses are and which zodiac they represent.
I've made notes on my own printed astro Vedic charts.
I still have to repeat going BACK to my notes, to 'remember' the flow of the chart.
I know that if I practiced it DAILY, I wouldn't even have to 'think' about it.
Same thing as when you learned the houses and quadrants in those placidus western charts. Your "eye" gets trained. It gets easier the more you practice, and spend time with it.
Can't do it right now,
but I'll come back with either notes, an article, or a video, on 'how' to very very basically read the houses and signs of a Vedic square or diamond chart.
The Houses? .. in the square or diamond charts are WHOLE houses. The house that contains your ASCENDANT will be marked by a diagonal line.
Sometimes you'll see "tiny numbers" -- those represent the signs..
e.g. Aries = 1
Taurus = 2
Gemini = 3 ... etc.
Remember! In Vedic you use the Sidereal, the "constellations" zodiac... not the same as tropical western. ... Same names, different measurements.
Have Fun!
